  • Hi i like this video...

    Is bery nice...

    Bye...

  • @1gabrieled -Thanks!

  • wtf.. it's a fucking toy.

  • @Tenzinpelha -Wow, nothing gets past you, huh?

  • Hey these can be ver useful on space missions

  • @NEEDFORSPEED194 I think its been done, lol.

  • indeed a nice video, at first i thought the video was sped up haha but they are some boss rcs i would like one of the red ones myself haha

  • @kindbudkudos -Thanks!

  • @pantablo how much did you spend on those RCs?

    are they like custom?

  • @kindbudkudos -The two you see here are custom. Mine, the burgundy Range Rover, has about $500+ in it. I have others with as little as $250 invested. Best, if you want to get into it, is to start with one of the Axial SCX-10 products. Best bang for your buck.

  • Team america fuck yeah!

  • Great video, great song 10/10 :D

  • @GunsNJohnny -Thanks very much!

  • @GunsNJohnny

    10/10?

  • Hah I saw this video and thought it was real.

  • @MercuryMorrison1 -Awesome! Its fooled a lot of people.

  • Thanks jaybostein16!

  • what scale are these?

  • @sweetfa09 -They're 1/10 scale. Wheel base is about 11"

  • OMG this are RCs

  • @Counterboy66 -thats right.

  • @pantablo First i thought they are real cars xD

  • @Counterboy66 - Awesome! 8^)

  • @pantablo funny vid

  • @1243austin -LOL, thanks. Fun to make too.

  • @pantablo i bet it was i did a video like that but me and my friend was jumpin hummers and they kept wreckin lol

  • GAY

  • @DathanMack -Thanks for your well thought out, intellectual and thorough comment. I'm sure you know of what you speak.

  • LOL, Hummer H2 Humping a rock ......

  • @maxime0999 -LOL, it does look like that, doesn't it...

  • where did you get that rr i want one they look expensive very nice..

    can you get them online..??

  • @aaronjl07 -Thanks. The body came off a toy grade rc made by New Bright. It's discontinued but sometimes comes up for sale on ebay. They are still available in Europe (particularly on ebay.co.uk). It's something like "Range Rover Sport X-11" or some such. Was about $45. The rest underneath is old school crawler stuff-stampede trans, TLT-1 axles, Integy motor, etc.

  • @aaronjl07 -The body is discontinued. Once in a while one comes up on ebay. They are still available in Europe (check ebay.co.uk for range rover x-11). Its a 1:10 scale toy rc made by New Bright. The running gear and chassis is all custom.

You'd have to source the body, and also buy something like an Axial SCX-10 TR (ready to run rc). Probably set you back something like $300-$350.

  • did this person have nothing better to do?

  • Awwwwww. I was hoping this was real and that someone had finally got the balls to deck out a RR properly. Still, its a cool video and the RR looks great......good job.

  • Thanks havocmwf. Agreed. I'd love to see someone treat these off road as they should...

  • lol, love it, very nice rc unit but RR sport has front n rear independent suspension doesnt it?

  • @2bornottoby -Thanks. Indeed the RR does have independent suspension on all 4 corners, unless the owner has done a SAS to front and rear, swapping in solid axles, lol...could happen. Maybe, lol.

  • lol 4:59

  • @D3ltaForce -My favorite part, lol.

  • its a rc cars -_-;

  • @bloodz0r -Yes. Hobby grade rc, not like toys you find at local toy store.

  • Pantablo... what do you think of the Kyosho RockForce? Have you tried it? Probably a little too wide for your taste, eh?

  • @MrPenyiar -Haven't tried it but by looking at it, yes, too wide, lol.

  • the rock shapes make them look much bigger than 1/10 scale

  • @BigFatLoserDude - Yes, this area, and Vasquez Rocks, both look like 1:1 areas when shot like this. It's very deceiving.

  • where did you get the range sport body and what chassis does it have if its a custom could you give me and idea of the cost please

    yours spliff

  • The body was pulled from a 1:10 scale toy rc made by Newbright, used to be available at Target and such stores. Now discontinued in USA but still available in UK and Europe (amazon). Chassis is custom: $85 for basic chassis, $100 for TLT-1 axles, $35 for Stampede transmission, $20 for integy 55t motor, $100 for electronic speed control (ESC). That's the basics then there are lots of other smaller things like tires, wheels, driveshafts, lights, scale accessories, etc.

  • why dont u buy a jeep or soemthing

  • Because I prefer Range Rovers. And I prefer scale 1;10 rc trucks as I don't off road in a 1:1.

  • Absolutely LOVE this video, Im picking a up a Nylint Crawler for 30 bucks soon... I drove it before. Loved it. I'll use it for winter trail runs, and maybe some mudding ;) and crawling of course!

  • Thanks. 2+ years later (and 5 or so rigs later, lol) and this is still my favorite of the bunch. Has gotten a good beating too. You can see it in more recent videos of mine.

Search YT for these videos to see the Rover Sport in the most recent videos: MGCiPiqsjA4 and hltUcIMNpP0

  • Cool! By the way, can you recommend some cheap, decent shocks, the owner says he is missing the two rears... I just need something to hold me off till I can get my hands on the good stuff!

    -Thanks!

  • yeahracing shocks are inexpensive. you can also get TLT-1 shocks cheap used. depends on the length you need. I use e-racing 70 (75?)mm shocks on most of my rigs. About $25 shipped for 4. short so there's not much articulation (the rover had TLT-1's in this video, longer and more articulation). I've gone away from more articulation. Thats why you see me 3 wheeling a lot...

  • @pantablo Do they ship two? or singles? Also, as you said they are longer, Does that increase body height?

  • sometimes you can get pairs, rarely just one but usually a set of 4. You need to know what the stock shock length is and get replacements accordingly. yeahracing has shocks from 50mm to 120+mm lengths in 10mm increments.

  • Yes, I think everyone gets that.

  • haha 2:36 cracked me up!

  • xaxaxa funny

  • dude, i saw the picture and thought it was real, and at 2:06, the range looks like its loosen energy, and if it was real, and i wuz in them wen it rolled, i would have been scared like hell, but the video wuz awsome, i give it a 10.

  • Lol, thanks a lot 296jayce! I appreciate it. Actually I was just creeping up the climb very slowly making sure the tires kept gripping. No way anyone would 'wheel a 1:1 like I wheel this 1:10 version, lol.

  • you didnt hav 2 worry bout dat, in my i's, land's r da bes.

  • The Ranger Rover Sport might not be as good as the 'proper' Range Rover or the Disco or the classic Defender, but it's still better than many so-called 4x4s.

  • Very true.

  • looks like u've never been in a wrangler

  • They do look very real, it looks like it could possibly be real ones filmed, then slightly speeded up, until the Rangey rolls over!! Nice one!

  • Thanks 44magnu,2146. I do try to film them so they look as real as possible. Agreed, unlikely to see a Rover on its side, lol. Or really off roading for that matter, lol.

  • sob i thought they where real.. crapy video quality hahaha as soon as the music stoped i herd them hahaha vey nice RC's though

  • @attpureownpk thanks! Love how many people this tricks. I was using low res video clips back then and now the clips are better quality. I can't believe I did this almost 2 years ago! That Rover has taken a beating but is still going strong, lol.

  • If it is an RC car why didn't you use a Range Rover body! In real life the sport is like $20K less than the real deal.

  • Because I am working with what is available. At the time the Range Rover was not available, only the Sport. Now it is, but its too small to use. I do have a Classic now, as well as an LR3. No other viable bodies are available.

  • hummer or range??...jajaja...RANGE!!!!

  • Since the Range Rover is mine I have to agree, jajaja.

  • rofl dude i feel like a moron i didnt know they were remote controlled cars until i saw the comments, very nice man.

  • @WeGonnaRockOnTo: LMAO! They've caught out a bunch of people! Thanks!

  • these are remote controlled cars

  • You're very observant. Its tricked many others.

  • Yeah, but they're the same size as real cars... LOL.. Moron..

  • I saw this vid some time back and thought it was really cool. Just got a wheely king 1 week ago and already climbing it up. Thanks for showing me another expensive hobby.

  • LOL, yeah sorry about that. Imagine my closet! I have 5 working trucks and thats a tiny collection compared to some, lol.

They're loads of fun and lots cheaper than 1:1 off roading!

  • wtf...

  • Nice vid mate. Roughly how much would a kit to build a rangie like that cost?

    Cheers.

  • Thanks much WWTYJ.

A few hundred dollars at least if you're just getting into rc is what you'd spend at a minimum. You could buy a kit, so most of the rolling chassis is done already, such as Axial's scx10, then buy a cheap toy grade rc for just the body (thats where most of these come from, including my rovers). Then there are a few other bits you'd need (radio, batt charger, etc).

  • jb1994777 , hes jjst jealous. awesome video man! your the big gohoona when it comes to scale rc. i love my cooler!

  • Good. Looks killer on your rig.

    Thanks for the kind words.

  • i hope you die

  • You seem to have some anger issues. Those are strong words to direct at someone you don't know.

  • a really gud rc..

  • thanks dood.

  • NICE LANDY!

  • thanks! I now have two with this body. Its my favorite.

  • pantablo has replied to your comment on The New Range Rover Sport-shake down run:

yoru time is irrelevant and valueless.

You can reply back by visiting the comments page.

Don't be such a pussy and delete your own comment next time.

  • You really aren't very bright, are you? If you look at the comment I deleted and compare it to the one I POSTED you'll see the only difference is the misspelled word "yoru". I deleted it and reposted it correctly spelled.

  • Put RC in the title next time so as not to waste my time, child.

  • Your time is irrelevant and valueless.

I put it back in. somehow didn't make it back in last time. I like it spelled correctly.

  • hey can someone tell me whats the name of the song?? by the way you have a nice hobby :)

  • its "Disassociative" by Marilyn Manson from his Mechanical Animals album.

    thanks aleexxxn.

  • Cool, i want RC like that. :)

  • Thanks. You'd have to make one like I did though...

  • lmfao 2:23

  • LOL.

  • lol, i thought they were real until i read the comments.lol.hey where can i get those?

  • You'd have to make one. This one is all custom. Uses TLT-1 axles and shocks (by Tamiya), one-off chassis and wheels, body from a New Bright toy, etc. check out scale4x4rcDOTorg for info on these types of rc scale trucks.

  • They are pretty torquey motors - what windings are you running? How long till it's flat? :-) And did the 'cops' ever manage to catch you in the RR? RR's

    4 eva! :-)

  • Thanks RangieNZ.

this is running a 55t motor through a stampede transmission (87t spur, 14t pinion).

he let me go after I pulled him out with my tow rope, lol. I love the RR too-so much so that I now have too of them (see most recent videos, lol).

  • damn! g.i. joe got f--- up

  • thx

  • lol th hummer is hauling ass =] haah

  • LOL, It does have a quick motor in it...

  • dude kudos to you that shit almost looks real!

  • thanks for that introspectre808. I appreciate it.

  • How much cost it?

  • They are very custom built. To put one together you'd be into the parts for about $450 or so. Some kits start at that price and still need lots of mods. SCX-10 starts around $240 but when you're done with the extra bits you need to run it you're still around $450.

  • buy a real truck???

  • or when you get some money you can also have both real and 10th scale. then you have something to do while camping on long off road trips.

  • lol what the hell they look like toy cars because they are glitching so bad lol

  • the radio's we were using at the time (not true now) weren't synthesized or spektrum radios. we would get lots of radio interference up here.

  • WHAT THE BUCK!!! what happened to your camera?

  • nothing here. I shot this in low res though. I've since started shooting hi res stuff (see later videos). Also, now the rover is beat to he!!, lol. Have a second one (charcoal color) now.

Also, the hummer is now the blue f150 in my later video and is for sale. price is negotiable.

  • Take a closer look topsize. this isnt a full size RRS. Its only 17" long or so, lol. Its a 1:10 scale replica radio control truck...

  • would be nice to have terrain like that in fl. only full scale. dreamin!

  • I've heard that about Florida. You guys get mud though, lol...

  • This is SOOOOOO cooool. I want that. awsome, dude.

  • thanks ottoplemeniti!

  • lol slowest police chase ever

    its cool tho

  • haha, it sure was.

    Thanks rc4x4tundra...

  • Nice fun to drive thos XD

  • Thanks mon3yclipproductions! They sure are. I now have a handful of them...

  • how much are they

  • it can very quite a bit since they're mostly custom.

However, you can start with an Axial SCX-10, add electronics and a hard body and be into it for $350 minimum. Some of these are well over $600. I'm building one right now for charity thats got about that much in parts alone without counting my hours and hours of custom bodywork and chassis fabrication.

  • wow i have a to gas powerd one's there like 700 to 800 dollers but yeah u can cuztom the gas power ones :)

  • maybe its just an escort humvee XD btw, dont forget to add RC car to the title, i got fooled a bit there XD

  • lol

but a humvee has an angled back peace this is a h2 but i get what your sayin

  • i thought it was real until the range rover fell lol XD

  • haha, awesome.

  • looks great. nice choice going with a rover. what brand are the crawlers themselves?

  • Thanks CoonBabble.

the rover is all custom under the body. custom chassis running TLT-1 axles and Stampede transmission.

The hummer is an Axial AX-10 with scale Xtrail chassis.

  • lol.. so thought it was real.. i think if I heard engine noises i'd be completely fooled

  • lol, thats awesome! thanks.

  • wow ... i so thought it was real for the first minute. lol nice job

  • thanks drgndstryr! I love hearing stuff like that.

  • i swear that i thought i was looking at the real stuff not some rc cars, dude nice job!!!!!!!

  • thats cool! thanks.

  • Excellent realism & terrific camera angles ... maybe add some battle wounds on the rocker panels.. every true crawler gets dents and scratches on their rig:]

  • thanks ACDC92708! Well, this was the maiden voyage of the range rover sport. Now it is beat pretty good. scratched and cracked all over, yet still runs great and is still my favorite of the 6 or so I've had and 4 I still have.

  • looks real

  • thanks lillas145! I tried to make it as real as possible.

  • where do you buy these? cheers

  • they're custom made. Body from toy radio control truck, chassis hand made, etc...check out scale4x4rc(dot)org

  • wow that really looks real...nice

  • thanks ndtubedude15.

  • Is this animated? Or are they toy cars.

  • scale radio control trucks. Better quality than the toy radio control trucks you'll find in the stores.

  • love that song and love your cars.what scale and wich brand they are .crawl rocks!;))

  • thanks serocell. these are 1/10 scale (so they're about 17" overall length). they vary on brand. the hummer is Axial ax10 with the addition of a scale chassis (Xtrail). the range rover is all custom.

  • Sweeeet!!!!!! 5 stars

Loved the rover driving over the hill at the end.. towing the hummer was priceless!!

  • thanks piranhaboy01! we both got a laugh about the towing too...

  • so cool

  • Thanks blueoval707!

  • omg. those rc cars are soooo cool

    i want 1

    lol

  • thanks. they're so much fun, both to drive and to build. My son digs them too so its nice to have something just the two of us share.

  • yer thats true :). but when i first seen the vid i thought it was real....but i found out coz the hummer it wasnt. still thought. fantastic video...u got any other vids like that?

  • I work hard to shoot it so it looks as real as possible.

I have loads of videos like this. check out my channel/profile by clicking on my name. that will bring up the 80 +/- videos I have done in the last year and a bit. Some are better than others...some are just me, some just a few of us like this one, some are large gatherings of 15-30 guys/trucks.

  • brilliant. thank you very much. n its a very good video, n i will subscribe aswell :). keep up the good work guys :)

  • thanks again.

    Cheers and enjoy!

    p-

  • In particular, check out the Forest Falls ones.

  • rock climbing with RC cars? whyyyyy

  • Your life... Whyyyy?? ;)

  • hahahah fucking thought it was real, til the police range came

  • hahah, thats awesome! Thanks.

  • my suggestion to the author, slow the vid down to 3/4 speed or so, it will give it a larger look... the first clip, i thought it was real, but the vid had been sped up, on the second clip, it was the audio that gave it away, you have a music background, cut the recorded audio

  • thanks for the suggestions-all good. the video clips are all at actual speed, neither sped up or slowed down. I'll play around with slowing it down though, thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • haha, almost...

  • At about 0:52 it hit me that something was up but I couldn't quite figure out what!

  • the wheels perhaps, lol? dunno. glad you enjoyed it!

  • HaHa Good Vid LoL

  • thanks jam26z!

  • holy shit that tricked me

  • hahaha, nice.

    Thanks for that franzolo14!
