  • Hey, so i bought a matrix unviersal holster for my TM SOCOM, didnt work as well as id hope, cheap material. but the thing that bothered me was that it wiggled ALOT when i was running and i just couldnt make it feel secure enough, it kinda looks like this one wiggles a little bit to, comments, suggestions???

  • @mQtec: new lesson, do not take a three second sampling of a two minute video, then act silly when you miss information.

  • @mQtek dude, at 0:58 seconds he pulls out a weapon that is clearly equipped with a laser/light attachment....thus by watching the video one would learn a weapon fitted with such acoutraments can fit into this holster.

  • @ReconMarine7592 Thanks: the video is about two and a half minute but some people still overlook the obvious information in it. I blame the internet and the E-numbers in our food. They give us the attention span of a gnat :-p

  • Does this holster work for a sig sauer p226? Also does it work with a laserpointer or flashlight?

  • @mQtek Did you watch the video? At 0:58 you see me pulling out a gun with laser and flashlight...

So it definatey fits the width of a gun with tactical attachments. However, the P226 is larger than the H&K so I don't think it will fit a P226 with attachments...

  • @wrolblogcom Did you read my question? I asked if it would fit a P226 WITH attachments. I did not ask anything else, thus the "did you watch the video" is moot.

  • @mQtek You asked 2 questions. First you ask if it will fit a P226 (SIG) Second you want to know if it will fit "a" gun (non-specific: not "will it fit a P226 with attachment") with attachments. And btw it's not called a "laserpointer": thats what you use for presentations. As you can see from the video it will fit "a" gun with tactical light/laser. Conclusion would be that it would fit any gun similar in size to a H&K P30L with an attachment similar to a Viridian 5XL.

  • @mQtek In other words: A) you need to learn how to count, B) you need to learn to observe what you see and hear in a video, and C) you need to learn how to Google so you can see what size/domensions a P226 with an tactical attachment has, and compare it with the dimensions of a H&K P30L and a Viridian X5L and D) loose the attitude when you made a mistake and just admit you missed something or just didn't think before asking. Here ended the lesson.

  • @wrolblogcom I looked at ur vid for 3-4 seconds before asking my question because I was in a hurry. Your argument is now rendered null. Never ever, assume anything. End of lesson.

  • Will this fit a MK23 SOCOM with LAM?

  • @Thehorndslaine Pretty sure it won't. That's a .45acp and it's way bigger than a P30L. This is a tight fit already. So no...

  • dude where did you get that hand gloves, i want them too

  • @GTHEBESTDUDE Those are medium sized Wells Lamont gloves, sold by Wal-mart. Bought them about 1 year ago. They are a tight fit but still give you enough dexterity. The palms are made out of 65% nylon, 35% polyurethane. Back is made of 96% polyester and 4% spandex. Insulation is 100% polyurethane foam. I like them a lot. Don't know if Wal-mart still sells 'm they were about $12 or so.

  • @wrolblogcom alright thanks

  • hello i just bought this holster for gas operated colt 1911 and was wondering if the belt to which you must fix the upper strap needed to be of a special kind as when i fix it to my belt, the weight pulls a bit down on it

also i have found that i can draw the gun without unscratching the security velcro.

any advice on this? thanks in advance and salukes van België

  • is that a H&K P30L ???

  • @barzank That it is...

  • viper is a uk company

  • Hi man, I have the same holster and I don't know about you but mine has a lot of movement in it. It's due to the loops at the back of the holster onto which the leg straps fix. Also I find that the elastic parts at the front of the leg straps allows some play too. Have you experienced the same problems after using it a while?

The final thing I have to say about the holster is that it isn't great for the M9 because the holster presses against the mag release button, which is why I'm now magless!

  • @canigetanoorah After using it a few months I can say that mine also has a little to medium movement. Off course it's at it's worse when you run. It doesn't bother me too much though. The H&K has a completely different mag release that is hard to actuate accidentally but I can see how yours came out if its tight in the holster.

All in all I am still ok with the holster...

  • @canigetanoorah

hey i know what u mean about the wobble on drop legs holsters i use safariland holsters. to get rid of the wobble i take off the top strap and wear it higher on my leg and where it attaches to my belt i take off the plastic buckels and just run the strap around my belt to make it fit better up higher. hope this helps

  • nice vid bro. i use a sparate militery pistol belt for my drop leg works just fine. i tried using it with the belt around my pants and i'm a little guy...just did work for me. but, i like ur vid....have a cool day.

  • Nice looking holster. Also like the gloves you have. What make/model are they?

  • i have a thigh holster and i just attach it to the belt that i have holding my pants up and when i walk and run it basically wants to pull my shorts down. do you think it would still pull if i had a separate utility belt to attach it to?

  • @131rocketman That's a common drawback for a thigh holster setup. Make sure you have the attachments around your leg setup the right way. I don't think that a separate utility belt will fix this.

  • @131rocketman I'm pretty sure that won't help. You need a good belt and some pants that do not slide easily. This is - as has been said - a common drawback of this type of holster (unfortunately). I myself do not have a big problem with is when I run.

  • Thanks. Good value for the money. I would love to do a run & gun with it....

  • That's a great looking holster!
