  • I was sitting two rows up from the guy that got hit it was pretty scary

  • @busdriverohio I hope you know he was throwing the ball at the dugout...completely missed...and therefore hit the fan

  • I remember watching that pitcher earlier in the year, I'm not surprised he missed the dugout.

  • Juuuust a bit outside!

  • This is the kind of attention that baseball DOESN'T need.

  • I salute the Dragons player for tackling Castillo. Nobody throws a baseball at a fan and gets away with it. It doesn't matter if he was 'aiming' for the dugout either. Wish I could go to more Dragon's games.

  • Kinda tells you why that pitcher is in the minors. Seriously, that throw had no motion or style.

  • i know 17 on the dragons you can see him at 0:32in front of the guy in the black shirt

  • To bad lou Piniella was not there

  • The reason the ejections were overruled is because both teams were going to have to play pitchers in the field. Both minor league coordinators didn't want pitchers playing in the field and risking injury. I was on Peoria's team that year...and both us and Dayton had lots of suspensions to deal with afterwards.

  • They should eject the league president for reversing the ejections.

  • The ejections were reversed by the league president. If I were umping, MiLB or not, I would refuse to ump the game.

  • You don't reverse ejections, you rule forfeits.

  • i was there!!!

  • lol representing dayton ohio to the fullest haha 937 what what is right

  • 937 what what!!

  • lol its funny that the pitcher threw the innacurate ball that hit a fan

  • LOL you dont come to Dayton Ohio and start anything without being dealt with. Even if it is just a baseball game. Those fans wanted to .... that dude LOL. :)

  • kill each other

  • Black folks always fight!

  • I've watched this dozens of times, and just now I noticed this: who appears to be the batboy jumping on that asshole's back at 0:15!!

  • idk i think its the batter or the base runner but at the same time the guy looks too small

  • because he threw the ball at his teamates well tried

  • That bat boy is a little white boy player who plays for the other team. The black/latino had 6 inches on the white boy who still took the black guy down!

  • I was at that game!!! i live 25 minute away from the stadium!!!

  • that guy who threw the ball is a pussy. he cant fight like a real man.

  • I don't understand why this is tolerated.

Had this been on a street corner the cops would have arrested everyone in the fight.

These players seem to have created a situation so that they are above the law

  • dude the guy who hit the fan is facing felony charges. So they are not above the law. And two, yea the cops would arrest them but they would be release the next day or in a few hours.

  • Donut1337

The guy that hit the fan is the exception. I have seen these guy beat the crap out of each other and not get arrested.

  • hes facing 2-8 tmm

  • woo hoo!!

  • Too bad for your argument that this took place on a baseball field and not the "streets". Did Marty McSorely go to jail?

  • hahah, McSorely. Jail time is pending, benched indefinitely.

I just love how a fist his face as soon as his face hit the dirt. Oh well, too bad he won't be in this country long enough to learn the language.

  • of course castillo is black...

  • i hate how...this pitcher threw the ball and tried with all his might to make it go into the dugout and he missed....wow....no accuracy at all

  • @MaRiie2012 thats why he was in the minors... :)

  • @MaRiie2012 thats why he's in the minors

  • UR a fucking idiot...if you or I threw an object at someone on the street and it it hit struck somebody we would be in jail...he won't got to jail, it is worse because he will never hit the show! Fuck his stupidity!

  • i live by dayton and i go to watch them alot

  • thats definitely not peoria manager ryne sandberg pushing the other coach...sandberg was visiting the hall of fame ceremony during this game

  • well maybe it wasnt ryne sandberg, but the manager of peoria at the time pushed donnie scott.. but that was just normal baseball arguments.. it was castillo, not the managers, they dont matter in the fight

  • good job pitcher fans should be wathing the game

  • haha the pitcher threw towards the dugout but hit a fan.

that's why he's in the minors...

  • yeah i no right

  • if you missing a whole dugout he should be in the minors.

  • @tlm0204 FAIL HE IS IN THE MINORS

  • Comment removed

  • only person id fight is the kid that threw the baseball id beat the shit out of him and stomp on his face

  • wow i just dont get how there are a lot of people that they would make the fuckin heroes "stomp on his face" are u fuckin serious fuckin ass

  • juan castilla u fucking monkey u should be banned from baseball u fucking animal are you kidding me its a fight u throw a baseball grow a sack that made me real mad watching that

  • he is

  • It is spelled Peoria first off, not Peroia.

And I thought it was funny how they said the managers there but the Chiefs manager at the time was Ryne Sandburg and not that guy.

  • i was their

  • the stupid pitcher's face was scared

  • One star for your asshole like techniques at the end of the video.

Can't you motherfuckers be normal on youtube? Jesus Christ.

  • aaaand thats why he's in minor leauge. =D

  • The poor kid over-reacted, he hardly speaks english and worse, he threw his career away with that throw. Chances are he will be sent home with no real future whatsoever.

Two other players have thrown at fans and were not charged with a thing, but this is in the pros. Good thing the Cubs are backing him, and I hope the fan who got hit is ok in the long run...

  • It was his choice to throw the ball, a knee-jerk, career-ending criminal act of violence. Poor kid...

  • fuck him he should be in jail and deported. Unless he thinks in his culture it is ok to assault someone like that. But I am sure he can play in the venezuelan league, chavez will welcome him with open arms, he is a hero in venezuela for throwing at the gringo fan, we should not only ban illegal immigrants but also work permits for these uneducated monsters

  • They should just not have fans come out to their games anymore. If they are going to throw baseballs at fans, they don't deserve to have anyone watching. Let them brawl in front of empty seats.

  • he didnt deliberately throw it at the fan!!! it was a bad throw its not like they wana hurt their fans

  • it doesnt matter whether he meant to hit the fan...he still had the intention to hurt someone with the ball...thats just asking for a trip to prison

  • what the fuck kind of minor leauge baseball pitcher cant throw the ball in a dugout??

  • hah, couldn't throw a ball into a dugout? those are massive openings, he should be thankful he even made it to the minor leagues

  • LAME

  • ill ignore that retard tennispro, i gotta say, that was a real good fight, i dont think that castillo should be charged with assault when everyone else were fighting and they didnt get charged

  • Castillo should be charged because while everyone else was fighting....they weren't hitting fans in the face with baseballs.

  • Seriously

  • he didnt meant to throw it at the fan he tried to throw in the other teams dug out before not while they all started fighting

  • It doesn't matter who he was throwing the ball at. It would be assault no matter who he hit. A ball thrown in excess of even 70, 80 miles an hour (I really don't know how fast an average minor league pitcher throws) could potentially kill someone or at the very least seriously injure them. It doesn't matter who got hit or who he meant to hit, he recklessly hurled an object knowing that it could fuck somebody up. He deserves to be charged and put in jail. The others do not deserve the same.

  • @OneLeo381 the thing is that was an attempt to injure someone not just hit them he threw that ball as hard as he could it doesn't matter who he was throwing at

  • @OneLeo381 he was a accused of assault and was charged 50,000 dollars hahah what a noob i bet he sucks at pitching

  • @unjustamerican I live in dayton, They told us he got deported. He was from Mexico or some shit

  • @xXSeanXx32 He's from Dominican Republic. Wouldn't shock me if he was deported, I do know he hasn't played in the U.S. since. Besides, his career record was 5-13 with a 4.79 ERA.

  • So you think that it is ok to fire a baseball at the opposing team's dugout and drill a fan in the head, knocking then senseless. Oh! Maybe that was you!!

  • no, i think just the opposite, i think that the baseball players were all being retarded an they all should be charged, but Castillo should get a harder punishment

  • Disgrace to baseball?? This is the coolest thing ive ever seen in baseball.

  • Yeah you are right it is so cool that a fan had to be carried out on a stretcher after being hit viciously by a baseball.

  • Dumbshit shouldn't have wasted money to go to a minor league game anyways.

  • wow,,you must of seen a lot of shitty ball games to think this is the coolest thing ever in baseball...again..WOW!

  • What Castillo did is not a reflection of the Chiefs. Castillo was immediately demoted to rookie league ball, where Im sure he wont see any playing time before kicked out of the Cubs organization. What happened should not be a reflection of the Peoria Chiefs - I am embarrassed that one player has had to cast a black cloud on my hometown team. And I understand it was that way - its minor league baseball - when this happens, it makes ESPN (as it should) - and it cast a black cloud on the Chiefs

  • nice username, i eat there allot

  • I know that it is a minor detail, but Peoria's manager was not at that game. He (Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg) was in NYC for All Star game festivities. News reports say 15 suspensions and fines were handed down 1 Aug 08.

  • bad influence

  • The losser is the black/latino julio the winner is the white guy who kicked his ass, #7 Brandon Menchaca!

  • Goons. Immature kids with too much testosterone(roids dont help) with something to prove.
