i have this video camera its great for recording :)

it sucks VERY BADLY you can film 20secs with the built in memory it comes with so you need to buy an SD card there is no stabiliser so its VEERY SHAKY the zoom feautre is very bad in quality and the zoom button is LOUD and picked up on in the videos the screen display is very tiny and I mean tiny its only 2" with very little pixels BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY I exchanged mine for the Flip Ultra HD and it was the best choice ever. DONT BUY IT.

This Kodak zx1 is perfect, is only 70$ or less, and it shoots TRUE 720p 60fps (it's not like those chinese shit that shoots at 320x240 and it stretch the movie to 1280x720) very beautiful colors, very good quality, and again, for only 70$... You can use up to 32GB SD memory card, and it's rubber-ed so resits to every weather (snow, rain, or sandstorm:) )As for stabilizer, don't drink, and you'll be able to handle it smoothly, or use After Effects

This is one of my frist camcorders. It is A great little device for the price. If you don't have the budget to buy A $300 to $400 dolore camcorders this is one for you. I bought mine for about $150 dolores and it works great. The only two complaints I have about this camcorder is that its small so you have to keep it steady or your recording is going to be shaky. And two make sure you don't put your finger over the microphone area.Other than that its An great little camcorder.

@wending Yes, and the quality for a device that has still photos as its secondary function is pretty remarkable. If positioned well for light etc the photo can look like one taken from a 12mp camera easily. A few things does let it down 'still' wise like the lack of flash but for the price and the fact that its primarily a camcorder makes the 'still' aspect worth it. I was in two minds about buying it but since I brought it I rarely leave the house without it incase I miss something. A must buy!

I've got a 4gb sd card that I use with my eee pc 700, I suppose 4gb wouldn't really be big enough. Yes this video has been very informative, its looking more attractive to me than the flip mino. Of course it doesn't matter that it doesn't have the flip out usb thing, you could just take out the sd card and plug it into your laptop.
