That's not an 03/04. That's a 99. It has the separate units for the CD and the radio, and the electronic mileage display. So it must be a 99. In 2001, they already had the new CD/radio unit.
If you don't mind me asking, what T56 is this? 03/04 Cobra, Viper, F-body or Magnum. I want to add a T56 to my Fox Body but I think I like the close ratios of the Cobra better than the aftermarket units. BTW, nice car!
@3cRider Yeah the 2.66 1.78 1.30 first gears I Like best. With that t56 trans the corvettes and viper, had the same 1st -4th but 5th and 6th are better for accel in the mustang t56 .80 , .63, a good transmission I would put in a gt if I ever got one.
Depends how much you go to the track imo. Centrifugal if you are at the track quite a bit, roots if not. I only go a few times a year so I kind of wish I would have gone with eaton/kb. Tons more fun light to light.
A centri is fun on the street if you don't mind winding it up. Like most mustangs, at 6,000+ rpm mine is loud as hell and draws a ton of attention. I was pulled over earlier this summer because of it, lol.
If you plan on a twin screw supercharger, I would definetly not go as steep as a 4.10 or 4.30 rear gear. The kb will produce all sorts of low end torque, which our cars lack, but with gears that steep you will just spin the first 3 gears. With the stock T45, I would go 3.55 or 3.73 max. While the 4.30's are great N/A, they are not the best choice for a twin screw or roots style blower.

I've got 4.56s right now. Im hoping that a T-56 will help tame 1st gear.

Are you FI or NA?

What rear end gears does this car have??
SHyatt714 2 years ago
4.30's. I got them before I supercharged the car. They are a touch steep but really not as bad as you would think.
cobra12901 2 years ago
NA. Full exhaust, inatke, 4.56s. Plan on putting a procharger or eaton on after the tranny goes in.

I want a roots style, but its 7K for a Kenne Bell, and 4K + a pain in the ass for an eaton. So you wouldnt say your centri is fun on the street??

@gooblf do the blower before you regear or you might end up not getting traction like you expect
