  • This is such a dope song. And unless I'm wrong, I don't think I heard a single swear word in this song.

  • @Division1985 i like metal and nwa both and punk and i love mc ren when he says what hes says here it reaches out and grabs u on the same level that metal and punk would if you try to be me its quite embarrasing but i understand cauce your mentally slow cause i can tell by the junk your 2 nervous to go!

  • Damn ren was ahead of his time

  • when it comes to Ren there's no comparison

And if you try to be me, it's quite embarassin

but I understand coz you're mentally slow

  • Damn Ren is insane. No need to say more.

  • 2 people like it ruff

  • I wanted to play in the gag so I put on the uniform. Only problem was, being white and from Blackpool, UK I probably looked more wanksta than gangsta in around 1990.

  • Mc Ren was always my favorite

  • @yomadda67 Ren was the best freestyle gangsta rapper of all time.

  • i wonder which 2 east coast folks disliked this

  • One of the best songs in history. Old School 4 life

  • Never gets old!

  • @CaptainMagma1 is like 23 years old

  • This bass is immense, made for cruisin in the low rider

  • Gangsta in black, and he's about to attack!

  • So whenever I'm stepping cover your head like an ostrich.

    Best line

  • One of the best rap song ever released. Soooo smooth

  • This Shit still Bangs 23 years later....." Ya' Sorry Asses"

  • HIP-HOP!!!

  • beat is fucking awesome!

  • Str8 up raw hiphop dopeness!

  • CLassic im sick of hearing this new autotune garbage shit when im in traffic respect to the villain! how the hell does hip hop honors induct Eazy & Ice Cube and have Yella DJ for Eazy but not induct NWA they should of been one of the first groups to be inducted before Pac,BIG,Missy Elliot,Snoop... fuck the HHH!

  • i'm actually a hard rock and rock n roll fan, but lately i enjoy NWA and also Ice Cube's latest album more and more cos i play the e-guitar and them old schoolers know how to mix instruments of different music genres into oldschool hip hop. youve got sick drum beats, e-guitar, bass guitar, piano (the last 2 featured quite a lot in Ice Cube's latest album), sometimes also violin which is damn hard to make it sound awesome, but they know how to do it!

    NWA rule big-time bro!

  • yo ren

  • I remember when east coast rappers said the LA rappers can't spit, well MC Ren proved them all wrong, too bad he never blew up like Cube, Dre or Eazy did, b/c he would have ran shit

  • @Layzie07 FA SHO

  • bad ass shit

  • 2.20 fucking quality

  • Comment removed

  • I wasn't much into Gangsta Rap.

But compare to the Crap I'm listening to now.

    I'm hooking up with it!

  • Most people don't know that MC Ren (rapping here) went to college (though he didn't graduate). Not just any College: Brown. To read the Greats. How weird our culture is o.O

  • Thumbz up!!

  • When it comes to ren theres no comparisson...he said it himself

  • I dont speak English, and was very sad thing when I discovered all this beauty tunes and sounds talkin bout "bitch" "money" "guns" and gangstar;..and more sad to know people killin. I underst/ each culture produce diff kind of music...but I till dont underst/ some things.

Maybe Im wrong about exactly context about this lyrics...Someone could tell me about meanings, context and purpose of NWA lyrics? Thanks so much.

  • @helmusico the lyrics are filled with darkness because they represent the pain and life experiences of many people in L.A., and carry hundreds of years of the suffering of the oppressed black people, kidnapped form africa and used as slaves in US and Caribbean by white colonialists who were at same time massacring native people in these lands. People have to be tough to live in these circumstances...

  • @helmusico THIS SHIT AINT FOR YO PUNK ASS CUZ

  • Comment removed

  • @jaguarcichlid08 Question was made not for You, too.

  • @helmusico

its all about singing/rapping/screaming off your worries and shit you've done, had to do, were forced to do. Same as blues really.

but biggest difference is they usually carry a message to carry across (like this shit can't go on any longer etc) to get attention on the issues that are in their world.

  • Rap was to R&B like Punk was to Rock & Roll..NWA and the Dead Kennedys both represented rebellion. So I can see a metal head liking this. I'm a black dude who grew up on rap & punk my damn self..

  • @Division1985 Hell, I'm a huge fan of DK's, Minor Threat, FEAR, Circle Jerks and then theres Ice Cube, NWA, Biggie, 2Pac

  • @Division1985 they should name R&P

  • yeeeah takes me back to year 10 rolln in my homey's drop valient with the two 12's bang'n loc'n out the vancouver streets!!

  • sick song, i love ren

  • All these white guys proclaiming they are 'rock heads' or 'metal heads' but take time out to listen to classic hip hop like this. I always read this.

  • This shits makin me wanna yell n shit know what i meannnn?

seriously man this is so damn smooth and funky but even tho this tracks got that goin on its got me havin the need to go crazy n wiiiild and im literally feelin somethin threatening to go off n explode from my chest, all because of this damn trackk!!!

    plz tell me you undeerrstttannnnd!!!!!

  • FUCKIN Classic Ren!!!! Better than todays hip-hop

  • FUCKIN Classic Ren!!!! Better than todays hip-hop

  • Lyrically, Ice Cube was ahead of MC Ren. But when it came to flowing, MC Ren had everybody beat.

  • @LawTheStryker

So true Ice Cube was way more superior to MC Ren and sounded more harder but yeah Mc Ren had great flow, but flow was Ren's only fortay!

  • Classic!

  • the cleanest nwa song mc ren can make a rap with no use of cuss words

  • mc ren is by far better then lil wayne and all them shit rappers whats become of this world FUCK!

  • Ren was so UNDERATED!

  • ren is underated

  • Amazing what can be done with just a drum machine, a guitar and talent.

  • dont they also play piano or sumthun

  • The guitar is a sample from Average White Band's "Star in the Ghetto."

  • The guitar is a sample from Average White Band's "Star in the Ghetto."

  • this song is gold! The beat always sounds fresh and Ren's flow is amazing...One of NWA's / MC REN's best imo.

  • my second favorite song by NWA

  • MC Ren was my personal favorite, such sick flow.

  • until yo h.e.a.d. is known as a blow

  • ren is the villian and you're just a hostage so whenever I'm comin cover yo head like a ostrich nigga

  • TRUE PIONEERS. I LOVE EAZY E and ICE CUBE!!! R.I.P. EAZY E

  • That's my jam!!! Thanks, homey!!!

  • All of MC Ren's parts are dope as fuck, even his CD was tight after he left. MOST UNDERRATED member for sure, nothing against Arabian Prince, but a lot of people look him up and don't care for MC Ren, which is bull shit! Arabian Prince had some good jams. Who remembers She Got A Big Posse? Hella Jheri curl's in that video, and at a bar and shit. Hella funny. B.P.A. I think it was, Big Posse Anonymous.

  • I liked REN most because he had the most East Coast delivery-style of all the NWA members, and at the time, rap WAS mostly East Coast, at least on the biggest, most influential level.

  • my facorite song eva

  • Clean the dirt off ya face , it cause acne lol

  • ren = sugah dick daddy

  • bomb ass shit

  • Ren is so tight on this track, the lyrics and the beat is incredible.

  • Most underrated song on the album

  • especially beggin to write sum lyrics wit me,

i just, snatch yo girl to take a nap wit me

omg, best line on the whole album

  • I would love to see an MC Ren Cover Band.

  • OMG!! you lot are tards since wen has ren bin better than eazy muthafuckin E ? never!!!! eazy-e rules

  • uh since forever, eazy e didn't even write his own rhymes. cube and Ren wrote his lines on the NWA albums. If you're a rapper that doesn't write his own rhymes then you're not a very good rapper.

  • @ThatIncredibleJordan true eazy didnt write much when he was with NWA, but when he left NWA he produced/wrote his own shit and went platinum multiple times proving he can manage his own stuff. so he was a good rapper. cube was just already good and ren was underrated rapper

  • Eazy-E sucked

  • @ThatIncredibleJordan ..thtats maybe true but without Eazy E there would be no Ice Cube, MC Ren and N.W.A. ...

  • @ThatIncredibleJordan u bitches cant stop talking shit about him even he passed since 16 years away, let him rest in peace and dont talk shit ok? motherfucker

  • @EazyEternalE yeah how dare people express an opinion different than your's

  • I think this song also appeared in grand theft auto san andreas...its a certain part int eh song o.O

  • why does everone think ren so rad????

  • @xavier1857:

Ren has perfect delivery when he raps. He is always good at sticking with the beat and he is easy to understand. Never has to make up too many words to rhyme something, either. Like most of today's rappers.

  • EXACTLY.. REN WAS ALWAYS UNDER RATED

  • ice cube did write the majority of the lyrics on the straight out of compton album..... but so did the D.O.C. im not takin anythin away from Ren, coz Ren got mad skillz, BUT cube and D.O.C penned most of the lyrics for this album and Eazy's 1st album.

  • yeah but Ren wrote his own lyrics and some of Eazy's with Cube'' when I was younger me and my friends would read the back of the record covers and you would see the songs that Ren wrote and Cube wrote for Eazy''

  • classic

  • Cube always had the hard hitting bars that got more attention and were actually sick , but as for lyrical content, ren was the best in NWA

  • Mc ren n ice cube r the 2 best rappers

  • I AGREE.. ICE CUBE AND REN THE 2 BEST

  • To be honest, I ain't much of a rap fan, I am a metal fan, but this old school (and IMO true) rap I enjoy. Tupac, Eazy-E and Ice Cube are my fave rappers. And N.W.A is great.

  • @KheftiuAsarButchiu

Metal and hip hop actually have many similarities. Sure the techniques, sounds and origins are different but think about it. Both have historically been looked down upon by conservative America (and even been subject to Congressional testimony), both have historically expressed anger as a main component of the music, both trace its origins back to historically black music, I could go on. As Duke Ellington said once though, "there's only two types of music, good and bad".

  • @KheftiuAsarButchiu you have good taste and I'm also a metal fan so as long as youre listening to a mix of both youre listening to good music

  • @KheftiuAsarButchiu dont forget biggie smalls!!!

  • well from todays rappers

NWA eazy e ice cube mc ren dr.dre and dj yella still the best

  • STR8 DOPE!

  • Ren goes so cold.

  • I love this song. Real dope beat and the guitar riffs sound nice

  • anyone want to get fucked up tonight?

  • Ren is still a better rapper than Dre

  • Actually Ren is a better rapper than anyone in NWA.

  • tru story, he really wrote like 75% of the rymes in nwa.

  • @Aicxown naw cube wrote almost everythin on this album, ren's a good rapper yeah, but he aint got shit on cube.

  • To cleaningAgents.

So, you're telling me that Ice cube is a better rapper than Mc Ren. Show me some proof. This song right here, is better than ice cube's career. He's a good writer no doubt, as for rapper MC Ren would murder him and then murder his soul as rises from his body, MC Ren would rape it too. Hahah.

  • Nobody else is gonna agree with us but I have to agree.

  • I AGREE WITH YOU...REN AND CUBE

  • it's weird how some people who listen to only rap have this weird association of electric guitar with "white music" or whatever... listen to how many rap songs have guitar parts. a lot of nwa songs do... this song does, straight outta compton, express yourself, gangsta gangsta..a bunch more i bet.

  • Played by Stan the Guitar Man

  • @johnniewalker23

    dam, this nigga toast

  • That's racist.

  • what is racist, exactly?

  • you! Now go back to posting how much you hate blacks on a different site.

It's the 2009 and we dont need that shit in America anymore. Leave that to those racist fucks over seas.

  • haha, are you drunk? you're not making any sense....

  • actually yes, me and my boys are hittin the dank and Evan Williams.

    I was just fuckn witchooooo!

  • @theZodiacDigital - That's True, anyways most of the influential guitarists were Black anyways I.E., Jimi hendrix, chuck Berry, Even Slash is Half black!
