Hello MdmYouth. When this video was shot, I was using unpacked hand-feeding formula that I bought from a pet-shop in a plastic bag. Now I use KAYTEE exact® Hand-Feeding Formula.
The first 2-3 feedings were a little difficult, but I had no problem after that. I grew up 3 babies. All of them after the first feedings, they opened wide their beaks waiting for their food.
How old is your baby? Do you still have problem feeding it?
the parent doesnt wanna feed them, they even step on em. I couldn't get hand feeding formula in my country, i tried many shops but they dont sell it. I feed em bread with egg + a sprinkle of cuttlebone. im very sure the 1st baby(19days) dont really like it, but 2nd (13days old) is ok. so next i search thru the net found out that i can use cat/dog food. I tried and 1st baby loved it. But i know that cat/dog food are salty(not that i tried but was told) so im alil worry. ~Help~
If you can't find hand feeding formula at your country's pet shops, I would suggest that you buy some from an internet pet shop. I don't think that cat/dog food is good for them, as their diet is completely different... cats and dogs eat meat, lovebirds eat seeds, fruits and vegetables...
what do you feed it? i have problem feeding mine..
