I just can't see our sun having enough gravity to keep a planet or brown dwarf or whatever Nibiru is in such a huge orbit. The apogee is so far out that there just can't be enough force wether from itself or our sun to bring it back in. I'm no astronomer but that big of an eliptical orbit just does't make sense to me. I just can't see our sun having enough gravity to keep a planet or brown dwarf or whatever Nibiru is in such a huge orbit. The apogee is so far out that there just can't be enough force wether from itself or our sun to bring it back in. I'm no astronomer but that big of an eliptical orbit just does't make sense to me. Correct me if I'm worng anybody!

Mind you the Earth has nooooowhere neeear the same gravitational ability as the Sun, so from my simple conclusion, i would imagine that the Sun could have a planet orbit 21,844,633,600 miles and much much further. In fact if nibiru was real, and the earth really was the size of the sun, the earth would allow the moon to orbit 11x as far a nibiru does. Please somebody correct me if im wrong, but it makes sense to me.

I havnt even went into pre calc yet, but from simple math, its pretty obvious the Sun has a large range of planetary orbital ability (whether thats the correct way of saying it, idk. it sounned good). We can fit 1,000,000 Earths inside the Sun, so lets assume that the moons maximum point of orbit is the maximum distance it can orbit before it flies off into space. I think they knew more than we are lead to believe, including the existence of other planets in our solar system. This ancient culture seemed privy to knowledge they didn't have the means to obtain back then, yet somehow they had it. It could only have been by being told by somebody who did have the means (i.e. an advanced culture). Said culture may have already been here on Earth though (think Atlantis/Lemuria). They just assumed they came from the heavens (cosmos) due to their technology.

It'd be advantageous for us as a society to shed religion (but not necessarily the belief in a god). It causes more harm than good and stunts our growth toward knowledge. Nobody wants to look for any answers (scientifically) because they have the comfort zone of believing it's all part of some divine plan. How counter-productive.
And yet science will NEVER be able to quantify the philosophical questions, so we should maintain our ability to think "outside the box" at the same time.

I don't think it would be particularly "advantageous", unless it's replaced by something else- and it has been replaced quite spectacularly by science. Only because of how screwed up people are, you might be right. People should do good because they are naturally inclined to do so, and not from fear of being whisped away to some fiery inferno for eternity... or conversely expecting some reward (heaven). If/when that day comes we will no longer have the need to believe that some omnipotent Big Brother is up there keeping score.

First of all, if this planet really existed, we would already feel it's gravitational pull, we would have seen it, since it is stated that it's a massive rocky planet (not a gas giant) and that it is only 3 years away from us.
Secondly, the planet's greenhouse efect is useles when the planet is several AU (astronomical unit - 150 mio km) away from the sun. There would be night for 3599 years and maybe 1 year of daylight.
The planetoids outside kuiper belt are merely the size of Pluto +-10%.

In my earlier post I also forgot to mention that if this big rocky planet was real, the gravity on its surface would be immense, meaning no living creature could survive on it. And furthermore, IF (and it's a BIG if) the greenhouse effect was sustainable at the distance of tens of AUs, what happens if the planet comes near the sun (roughly 1 AU)? You get Venus. The atmosphere gets hot, pressure gets high. YOU DIE.

Uranus was discovered in the 1700's, Neptune in the 1800's, and pluto in 1930. you can't see these planets without a telescope, yet they describe them perfectly. And also the asteroid belt.They describe earth when they arrived as being in an ice age. How did people 6000 years ago even know what an atmouspere or an orbit is?So to me whether Nibiru is really a planet in our solarsystem or not is beside the point.
