I personally believe, that Smith is too green for stepping in that ring, if he das talent is not showing much of it right now, because he has still to learn to walk in this business.

Ok He's a Legend Son, but punnting him so much pressure and pushing him like this, is not making him any good.

Put him back to get 1 or 2 years of experience, and I believe he will be ready for the big picture.

Maybe he is awesome in the ring, but until now i missed the match were he shows it.

I understand that WWE standard for ring work is generally not exalting (save for some awesome workers), and is very prone to entertainment, but yet in my opinion, he has still to show some dexterity.

DH hasn't shown much in wwe you are right, but trust me, that man is an amazing worker.

One problem for him might be that he uses a lot, and i mean A LOT of moves in his matches. But I can think of a dozen moves that he does that are staple moves of mid and upper card wwe guys. So maybe he feels squeezed and limited with what he can do.

Plus, everyone wants to see him do that running power slam (me included), even though it is no longer a credible finisher.
