  • Oh dear! what was the MD thinking when he or she let the solo trumpet play at least a semitone flat all through the piece? For an easy solo he made hard work of this - he should perhaps forget that it is a solo and just play the notes whilst listening to the orchestra. A good band which played very well. I would have liked to hear this without the solo trumpet!

  • Flat the entire performance. Sorry but if you can't hear that you have no place standing in front of an entire orchestra.

  • Flat, no heart...quit.

  • hes not suppose to slur those notes

  • the player is not joking? seriously, it seems like "kidding " playing

  • hes not putting his slide in because the low D is easier to hit this way , i leave mine out specifically for the jumping at bar 27.

this is probably why he has problems hitting the higher notes towards the end .

  • how old is he?

  • I think he's 18 now

  • Oh wow. Playing that currently, and this was... o.O

It seems so fast for a lullaby?

  • MusicJohnson, are you the trumpet player here? If you are, you're awesome.

  • No, this is one of my friends playing

He was pretty good a year ago.

  • why doesnt he push his damn tuning slide in? Inst that the first thing youre supposed to do before preforming?

  • Leroy Anderson was an AWESOME composer, wasn't he?

  • too bad he plays flat throughout

  • Nice job!
