As being a Mexican-American, I can value the history of my people. Our blood and history is here. I am home. We must never forget where were we came from. We come from Indigenous people mixed with Spanish ancestory. The 'natives', they came and migrated from Asia and went up through Russia etc. my point is we all got a start from somewhere in the world. History is beautiful thing.

Savages? Aztecs and Mayans were cleaner than Europeans, The Mayans were smarter and far more advanced than the Europeans. They didnt know what a horse was because horses migrated out of the americas during the ice age. Nudist? As being a Mexican-American, I can value the history of my people. Our blood and history is here. I am home. We must never forget where were we came from. We come from Indigenous people mixed with Spanish ancestory. The 'natives', they came and migrated from Asia and went up through Russia etc. my point is we all got a start from somewhere in the world. History is beautiful thing.

@Jaahaah well that and also ,,during the great sacrifice period the Aztecs invited other clan leaders to witness thousands of their soldiers and warriors to be sacrifice, so almost no convincing was done, just alliances were made...and one main reasons why the Aztecs lost was because they were trained to capture not to murder, as for the spanish were trained to torture and conquer other countries and villiages

It's hard for some of us to trace our noble roots because not all native cultures survived the invasions. Mine was one of them. We only speak Spanish now. While the Mexica (Aztecs) were the most well known native americans, there are other groups. Unfortunately, all we can do is read of them in history. Most Native Americans in Mexico live in the southern parts, and few live in the north... the ones who survived anyway.

@DarkAngelrace, You ask if i'm sure i'm Meshica,...well no, i may have some Nahua blood, but i'm more Pur'epecha and i might have some mayan besides some irish in me,...and so if i'm learnin' nahuatl,...sadly there isn't that much info out there on how to learn pur'epecha but remember the aztecs didn't dominate all their neighbors, they lived side by side and interacting socially and carrying out trade and barter with them.
