@edyken77 stores generally get movies/games/etc. before the release date. when i worked at blockbuster we got stuff a week before the release date and employees were able to rent them at that time, but the public couldnt.

I've been told that BD is losing popularity because of the digital content now being released with movies? I wonder if that's also why prices are dropping? I edit video and I know that many editors HATE Sony's propietary grips on BD. Especially Apple Editors. It wiped out all ability to author HD DVDs & true BD without having to jump through hoops with the program toast. U have to pay SONY a fee to author a true BD, or pay way too much for proper BD authoring software.
