i hope your planning on using a propper substrate and proper hide once he gets bigger. he will love you for useing something other than paper towels..
you know leopard geckos dont need lamps i have one that looks JUUUST like that and he has no lamp, there nocturnal. The only thing i use is a heat pad under his hide
