@SEXYPLUNKY, there hasn't been a separate Saiyuki Gaiden anime yet -- just a couple of "flashback" Gaiden episodes towards the end of the Gensomaden Saiyuki anime. However, late last year, after the Gaiden manga finished up, there was an announcement that it had been licensed for an upcoming OVA adaptation -- no idea when it's going to be released, though!

The god that looks like Gojyo has the wrong hair color in the little part he's dancing with Tenpou.

Actually, Kenren's hair color is different in the manga and the anime. Minekura-sensei draws him with black hair in the manga and the artbooks. But for the anime, presumably to make the connection to Gojyo more obvious, they recolored his hair reddish-magenta.

I've never read the manga. I know though that people who have darker hair colors are just colored with black when the panels are in black and white, unless there are actual colored panels too in the manga?

Minekura has done color covers for Gaiden and lots of color artbooks -- Kenren has black hair in those. The red hair and eyes is just a stylistic change for the anime.

Unfortunately, I can't actually read anything on the Japanese site that came from *blush*. But I do believe that most of the Caramelldansen meme videos are fan-made parody productions. This is one of the longest, most complex ones I've ever seen, so it must have been a real labor of love. :)
