@CamWake091 lol u doubt today's athlete's that come out of college man. we got athletic freaks coming from hs to college and u especially see the impact on linebackers.
@xekit No, it's not debatable. Smith wasn't even a starter and had more sacks that Miller so he is obviously a better pass rusher. Not to mention the fact that Miller is horrid against the run while Aldon Smith is a beast against the run, so it really isn't even a competition. Btw, Miller should have more tackles than Smith because 4-3 OLBs get more tackles than 3-4 OLBs.
@iClassiqaL even though he wasnt a starter he still played big minutes, denver's backup mlb doesnt start but he still leads his team in tackles with 97, i do admit miller isnt good against the run though, but u still didnt count in the fact that miller played 1 entire game less and had a cast for 4 games, its obvious that if smith had a cast he wouldnt be as effective as he was, i think that smith was the overall better player this yr but next yr miller will take the edge
@Burrelly25 Which is why he's a pro bowler as well as the fact that he's going to be the defensive rookie of the year. Know your shit and look at his actual in-game tackles before you judge.
@Jman16119 I was looking at the difference of form tackling between a rookie and a veteran at 2:11 showing that Ware actually wraps up and Von just ran and threw a shoulder. Did I say he sucked? NO. I'm implying that any player that shoulder tackles would get demolished by power backs.
@Burrelly25 AP, Brandon Jacobs, an Steven Jackson have all been rocked by shoulder tackles before. and theyre basically the 3 biggest in league.
I'm not saying it always works... But they definitely do not always get demolished. If you're a big hitter, most of the time...it doesnt matter how you hit the other player.
@Squarebusiness88 Shane Lechler is one of the best punters ever. I know he's just a punter but he's gonna be a Hall of Famer. Mike Goodson at Carolina would be a big name if he wasn't playing behind Stewart and Williams. With Romo sucking we may see a little bit more of Stephen McGee (I wish.) but yeah. Not many big name Aggies out there. Others are starting DLine and DBs.
I think that he is a good fit for any team. Denver will use him as he should be used. I could easily see Von and Elvis combining for more sacks this season than the entire team had last season (23).
@cameron0621 maybe but think about it he's a blitzing linebacker he needs thats running burst to help him and if he's on the line he'll lose that and if he's a 4-3 linebacker he'll have to defend the pass alot. This guy if u ask me should be blitzing on every down man if this guy would be perfect for the wade phillips system
@MegaSnarf69 this guy is a demarcus ware blitzing machine type player who uses his athletism and power to get through blockers. In denver he's gonna have to cover and play the run more. THis guy needs to be bltizing on every down. its different wen ur a de than lb. and some people say well he's gonna still be one but to me he needs to be on a 3-4 team
@724Broncofan doesn't matter how good he plays because he would have probably played better somewhere else. Now i know you biased cause your a broncos fan but if you really looked at his skill set he was meant to be in the 3-4 as a blitzing linebacker like clay matthews, mario williams, demarcus ware, terell suggs. Now you can make the case he's doing well which he is b ut everytime he goes on a blitz he's leaving a receiver open or a part of the field open because he's in a 4-3.
@Riocoolnes So does any player who blitzes in a 4-3. But it doesn't matter if he would do better in a 3-4, as long as he still does good in a 4-3, then its a good pick. Why would you not want to pick a player who is going to do good on your team? especially if he is going to do great on another team? Think about it by getting a good player for us, we took a great player for any 3-4 team out there.
But that is saying he won't be great for Denver, when he still has his whole career ahead of him, who knows what he will do. Honestly just because he is doing good now...doesn't mean he won't get injured so it could go either way really. (knock on wood).
He broke the block but didn't stay on his feet. Useless.

Atleast Demarcus Ware can form tackle instead of that pussy shoulder tackle shit. You won't be able to tack Adrian Peterson or MJD like that
