I felt as if in a way Indians really like their crazy junctions and confusion, it's like it makes them feel alive and free. They end up bored in a strictly regulated and quiet place
What I mean by that is that now, in the time of Kali Yuga, politics and politicians, broadly speaking, are about self interest and personal gain...I would love to see this change, and will work towards this end in whatever ways that i can...However, this has nothing to do with my feelings about India which I have already shared...Peace....
clearly you represent the "pinnacle" of civilization and its erstwhile development...so you should have some empathy for those who you deem behind, its also called compassion, sucka!! grow up.....
You are much too kind. Whatever India does is automatically first-class. Millions in the "India Shining" movement can't be wrong. India is a superpower. India's got the second best military in the world. India's conquering other countries with her brain power exports. India's corporations are buying up all the major Western companies. India is building a few dozen 20-story "skyscrapers" and malls. India will be a superpower for sure. It's easy, just wait around until 2020.
All Indians have to do is to kick back and relax... all the work has been done... they just have to wait for 2020 to arrive, and all the people in the world will admire and worship India for her greatness. India's rise is inevitable. Watch out! Bollywood, curry, Hindi, etc. are going to dominate the cultural world too... Life is going to be good, for sure.
Oh no, Indians ought to have sympathy for me. We Americans are well behind India already. I hope India will keep the world peaceful and treat us well. India is ready to lead the entire humanity toward Yogic enlightenment. Go India!
Ok, Ok, let me get this straight...you are delighted and a pro=India (as superpower) person? You are ready for the curry revolution to take hold and bland, unimaginative cuisine will be a thing of the past in good, ole USA? And apparently 2020 is the lynchpin? Lets be realistic though, politicians and yogic enlightenment seem further off than that...
What are you talking about? India is already at the pinnacle of social and spiritual enlightenment. Hinduism is the most inclusive faith in the world. Let's not forget India gave birth to Western civilization: just look at how many English words are derived from Sanskrit. Where else in the world can you find people who are poor but happy? By 2020, India will have the economic power to match her spiritual and cultural power, then the world will be at peace under Indian leadership.
India already has a 600 million-strong middle class. Indians invented zero, rockets, computer chips, internal combustion engine, geometry, logic, algebra, airplanes, vegetarianism, yoga, meditation, accounting, statistics, etc. There is nothing to stop India from becoming the dominant superpower in 2020. Watch out! Who are you to question India's rise?
The Indian navy was the first to act decisively against Somali pirates. The Indian military is the strongest in Asia. India has democracy, liberties, freedoms, and other soft-power advantages not available to others. India is not plagued by Western materialism. Indians are the most united and determined people on the planet. 50% of doctors in the USA are Indians. 32% of NASA engineers are Indians. TATA is the most innovative company on the planet. India is poised and indeed shining!
India also give the world Buddhism, Bollywood movies, the most beautiful songs and dances. India's IITs are much better than MIT, Stanford, Harvard, and Yale. The West is finished. India's demographic advantage (its fast-growing and young population) will guarantee its economic, intellectual, and cultural leadership and dominance. People may fear India, but certainly everyone respect India.
Oh, but you misinterpret...I also think india is the greatest country on earth, with the most amazing cultural diversity, inclusive religion, amazingly kind and generous people, and the best cuisine on earth...Many, if not, most of the worlds enlightened people walk the streets and mountain paths of an India that is more sacred than I can conceive...I love India and her people....
anilingus, Funny thing is inspite of it seem chaotic it is always on the move. There seems to be some 'organized flow' which only the people in this 'rhythm' understand. For outsiders it could be mindboggling but you could see it in another perspective:)
I love Indian people and culture and also Indian veichles. That's why I purchased a Royal Enfiled. I think R.E. are completly Indian and not British. If I will be rich one day I will buy also an Ambassador!! :)
India might be 3rd World, but it sure produces some NICE scooters. Very reliable and true to the classic original vespa design. Bajaj and Genuine make excellent scooters that are affordable and reliable. PLEASE, Bajaj! Don't abandon your Chetak production!! It is a BIG mistake. You will regret it in the long run for sure!!!
I am ashmed of state of affairs on roads in India<I have analysed this for long time>also taken arial views<I have noticed that The shopkeepers have occupied almost 35% of roads on both sides<if u relly look shopkeeps have put some kind of extender(which is the cause of looking so dirty)whether it is amat, piece of metal sheet, putting stones to hold it in place, and leaving no footpaths,The solution is to push every storeowner in India to the limit of their stores and u will see improvment>thnks
thank you for your thoughtful insights...maybe the population, shopkeepers, and numbers of different types of vehicles, animals, and pedestrians on the road makes for slow going...But, i believe India is the most wonderful country on earth nonetheless....
I love India and that is why I wanna look like a beautiful bride<as most ppl fallin love with another human being and i being a man like india to be a beautiful women as every man would fallin love and viceversa<,thnks
yes, in some way the rules are quite simple, but when a two lane road becomes a six lane road (and people are passing on both sides simultaneously and suddenly a camel-cart enters into the equation) there is uncanny ability to adjust to any situation without making contact. There is a level of awareness that allows that flow to be graceful and elequent in the midst of (to the western eye) chaos. This allows traffic to move at amazingly quick speeds considering the density.
Actually, in India, you honk when you're about to pass someone - sort of like using your high-beams to pass a truck in some countries. In fact, on the back of most vehicles you'll even see the words "Honk To Pass". Another things that's used a lot is hand-signals to let people know that it's safe to pass or to wait, etc.
u were high right?

This must be what Indians call "developed". If they manage to build more cities like this by 2020, viola, India will be a sooopa Pawah.

No discipline whatsoever. A traffic cop would have to write tickets until his fingers were bleeding if it were in any civilized country.
