the BEST thing to do once you make your way to the second underground control room in that bitch of a tunnel system is to throw a smoker farther down the tunnel, another in the side control AND a frag. Then go in with an AK47 or a smaller submachine gun. Ditch the MP5K and use the pm63. Trust me, I've died like 50 times and then used it. It works

btw: don't use the ak with the acog sight-switch to an extended or dual mag, or a grenade launcher.

First COD i've owned and I gotta say im unimpressyed. With all the bitching about how hard veteran was, I'm surprised I beet it in roughly 7 hours. There was one shit-hard part in this level though, the damned corridor from hell xD probably the hardest part in the game. I ended up throwing a smoke and just running for my life

@BLACKUPDATE Yeah, I don't see checkpoints on this, it's the Wii version? PS3 version has checkpoints, even on Veteran, which is the level I'm playing it on. On PS3 there's a checkpoint at about 5.14 on this vid, and the next checkpoint is when that fucking corridor of doom is cleared. I reckon I've been killed well over a hundred times trying to get to that damn checkpoint at the end of the corridor, lol.

@liebowski Actually, the checkpoint on Veteran on the PS3 is at about 6.53, not 5.14. Then there is a checkpoint at the end of the corridor (on Hardened, but possibly not on Veteran, I still haven't got through the damn corridor to find out!). And this looks like the Xbox version

This game is hard in veteran. The key is to keep moving forward as fast as possible. Otherwise you will face never ending waves of AIs. Infinite re-spawns suck!!!!

frustrating bit in the tunnel at 7.52, for some reason for me on the xbox there is waaay much more enemies running about than on this video. I have tried the smoke to progress but no luck. I try taking it slower, more enemies respawn at the back. So close to throwing the controller at the TV

I think I have the same problem. I have found that the faster I go the less guys there are but I have to be almost perfect to not take a hit. If you try and go slow from cover to cover it seems that at some point some stupid stray bullet takes me out every time. If my teammates had half a brain this level would be really fun. As it is they are usually in the only good spots doing nothing.
