To add our thoughts to some of the discussion going on here, we have always been inspired by VK but we don't want to copy. We are just making the music we want to make and we enjoy accompanying our sound with strong visuals and art. If other people enjoy what we do then that makes us very happy. @Corebyheart Visual came around in the 80's and was inspired by 80's glam hair metal and the batcave goth scene...It is its own genre and isn't ripping anything off. I hate when people say things like 'thats just a rip off' because nothing is sacred, and you CAN be inspired and influenced by something without 'ripping it off'. And goth is a rip off??? says who??? I think not many western people can pull off the VK look very well, just like Japanese people don't fit that typical European metal look → long beard and long unstyled hair etc. I think people shouldn't try to copy eachother if it doesn't really fit them, even if they're inspired or whatever. Most of the times it fails anyway

@PichanDaisuki I don't agree one bit with you. That is a bit discriminating. No offense as this is my point of view. Western people, some pull it off amazing, some don't, I don't care, in the end everyone carries their own style and do not copy. I have not seen one western VK band that copies Ruki's make up or other artist. Usually they go for their own look. And metal-heads is over the whole world. It is a shame people got narrow minded. Japan loves Europe VK. Trust me. And VK bandmembers too.

Anyway Europe should have more Visual Kei bands. Let's just drop the emo/scene thing (who is the worst rip-off someone ever seen + they jacked something so cool such as Visual Kei). Can you believe that the copy of something so cool such as Visual Kei is the shittest thing ever? And by that I mean scene/emo. C'mon people stop being emo and try being Visual Kei/Oshare Kei.

XD yeah, i'm checking this stuff, there are a few REALLY CUTE characters among these bands, but in general i still fell that japanese look better in vk outfits... even if they are not so cute without make-up (take kyo from diru), when they wear make-up they... whatever, look at the old diru stuff, i mean...; as for the music, Seremedy are so much stunning! i have to check out more, but i'll definitely keep an eye on them! :)

@pelletsRP Three members of Seremedy have spiky manga hair, one of them look effeminate and the other, well, is almost effeminate too. So they kinda look Visual Kei.

@Saamchan Mmh actually you're right a lot of them sound western ! But most of those bands are at the beginning so , for me it's a bit hard to judge! What i don't like is we-wanna-be-Like-japanese-band­-but-we-suck-at-it bands xD YEah i know i use a lot of long words!
