Eh, I dont see a block. Irvine gets close in a single corner, he quickly moves out of the way, lets him through. It's Irvine who fucks up and rides the curbs like a moron.
Totally Agree, It would be nice if Rosset let's him pass on the straight but he gives him enough room to cut the corner in a good way. Irvine's foult.
@R33Racer dude.. he alrdy had a half of a second of gap to coulthard in the 2nd sector.... it didnt really cost him more time than he would have lost...
@TommyBellingham - Irvine was not "crap". He just missed out by a few points to Hakkinen in 1999 to becoming world champion. Yeah Schumacher broke his leg at Silverstone but this only let Irvine become number 1 driver at Ferrari for most of the 99 season and be given the chance of driving to his full potential. You can have the right to call him crap if you finish 1st or 2nd in the world drivers championship. But that is never going to happen, is it?!
@skaloon What's his age got to do with anything? he chose to come back. Ferrari and Benetton favoured him over his team mates. The sport would be better off without him.
you have no idea what you talking about. MS was fast - very fast at his prime. whoever seen him back in those days and had some idea about racing knew how good he was. with age you lose a lot of your abilities - reaction time being most important, MS is not that good anymore as he was young. you can hate him for his bad actions, but claiming that he was a bad pilot is just ridiculous.
@skaloon I didn't say that he was a bad driver did I? But I think he's a bad person. He should have raced everyone fair and square, including his team mates.
nice way to lose and argument. throw some curse words out and walk away. funniest thing - you answered me 3 times before you accused me for getting into other people arguments. anyways, my job is done.
@skaloon You are just a pathetic Schumacher worshipper. Why don't you attend a race weekend and ask him if you can lick his arsehole and kiss his feet? Then you could die a happy man!
i never was MS fan. i was a big fan of McLaren with Mika Hakkinen. but i respect MS as great racer - one of the best. meanwhile you are just a pathetic hater - you can't stand that some people are more succesful than you and try to find a way to make them look bad. please take your hater bullshit and crawl back to your hole.
@skaloon I don't want to cheat in order to get success. Schumacher is a disgrace to the sport. Why don't you say what you have to say to my face? You are a typical cowardly moron who hides behind his e-mails.
overexaggerating ftw. it's a very competitive sport, you have to make desicions in split second. and all MS bad desicions were made in those situations. and there weren't many, just few on the edge (you can find in most pilots history same stuff) - everyone makes bad desicions in their lifes and MS is just a human - like the rest of us. Let me remind you, that you were the first to start cursing me - and somehow i'm the coward you hides behind something. you are really FUNNY.
@skaloon You were the one to jump in on a discussion that I was having with someone else. You need to make a decision to improve your english! Dumb ass!
well english is my fifth language - so i might make some mistakes. the comment i answered was top comment on this video and it was completely wrong. that's why i answered. little discussion doesn't hurt. but you are the one who started making personal insults without knowing nothing about me - that's very low.
Even Senna said his victory was thank to the car and the electronics in Donington 93.
Beneton had not any electronic control that race. Mclaren had the best traction controls in the grid, some engineers said "we knew we could not compete with chassis of Williams, so, we developed the best traction controls in the grid".
You say you don´t hate Schumi. But millions of Schumacher haters have no idea about these kind of facts, and it´s a shame for them.
@ANDYB1478 They were allowed to race him until in a season Schumacher showed he was faster - which he did every year. He's slow now because he was away for 3 years, the sport has completely changed and he's old. Before talking about the team orders rubbish check the history of a few other teams since the early-mid 90s
@WhyGenFM3 Rubens Barrichello was about to win the 2002 Austrian gp but was told to move over to let Schumacher win and the crowd booed. Ferrari favoured Schumacher. You clearly don't know what you are talking about. And don't make excuses for him just because he is older.
@ANDYB1478 Because Schumacher was winning the championship - same as they made Massa do for Alonso last year. Difference was at Austria 2002 it wasn't against the rules. Malaysia 1999, Schumacher moved over for Irvine because Irvine was fighting for the title. There was a logic, it just got dragged out because of British media and the Adelaide incident. Have a look at the Williams/McLaren politics of Jerez 97 before you pull your punches at 1 man.
@ANDYB1478 Also, relevent to the video - Eddie Jordan ORDERED Ralf Schumacher not to attack Damon Hill in this race, so Hill could win. Is that not of debate?
@WhyGenFM3 That was because it was going to be the first ever win for Jordan and it was going to be put at risk if Ralf and Damon raced each other because they could have both crashed out.
@ANDYB1478 and how's that different from Ferrari favouring their lead driver, to avoid them crashing out? Apart from the fact Ferrari were racing for the championship.
@ANDYB1478 As far as I recall it's the only time they were in a position to do it as a 1-2. Unlike McLaren and Williams. Do you patrol their videos too?
@WhyGenFM3 McLaren and Williams allow their drivers to race each other, it's called being fair. You are clearly a Michael Schumacher arse licker. Go and bother somebody else and get an understanding of something before you comment on it.
@ANDYB1478 They do now, they didn't when team orders were legal the first time out. Frentzen and Coulthard took the wrap all the time, and even between teams at Jerez 97 McLaren agreed not to attack Williams. Go figure. And less of the hostility, don't blend into the sea of YouTubers who are so low on tone they're hated by people they've never met.
@WhyGenFM3 Do you remember qualifying for the 2006 Monaco gp? Schumacher (lowlife that he is), deliberately made a mistake to bring out the yellow flags and spoil Fernando Alonso's hot lap and therefore secure himself pole position. The stewards knew what he was up to and penalised him. Were these the actions of an honest person?
@ANDYB1478 and he got penalised. Woop-de-doo. It depends how nitty gritty you want to get on indescretions. Panis' overtake on Irvine at Monaco 96 was pretty punishable. No? Name me a driver and we'll name a mistake he's made his career. Either that or get over it and stop replying because I'm bored of humouring you.
@ANDYB1478 You have nothing better to do? "You're the one who keeps replying to me!!!" was your response one before last, and there's no argueing with such a stubborn fool, so I've given up. Trying to educate you is of little use to anybody anyway.
LOL the poster of this video clearly is a bitter Schumacher hater. Schumacher certainly didn't look on Irvine's pace in the race lol. Erm about a second per lap faster !

@k0nn0r Eh,but Rosset forced Irvine to enter the Bus Stop from the inside, which makes you next to impossible to go through the Bus Stop well

@k0nn0r Er um, No. Rosset was clearly blocking the racing line.

@R33Racer Right, that sure explains the 2,4 second difference.

@k0nn0r You need to learn how F1 works. A millisecond of wheelspin can cost half a second if the front runner is on form.

Rosset was taking to the pits. If he had kept his foot in there would have been no problem, that pit entry wasn't idea for this exact reason though.
