If you are wanting to find a unit google "ww2 proboards" and make an account. There is a recruitment section that you can post your age, name, and what you want to portray. After that you wait and a unit from your area will get you in touch with their unit commander who in return will help you get your gear, loan out gear, and help you understand everything. It took me 1 month before i found a the forum and after that my reenacting hobby took off like crazy. Just do what i said and you'll be set

For all you kids out there trying to join the world war two community. You should google "ww2 proboards" Make an account and ask your questions there. I started when i was 16 because that is when i first found out about it. I am now 18. You can reenact at just about any age just don't expect to carry a weapon. You can reenact medic, ammo carrier, and stuff like that without a weapon. I have been using a weapon since i was 16 so it is really just a matter of the event and their rules.

Is it 16 to reenact for World War II/? Does it even change from war?

I know my local Civil War Regiment allow for 16 year olds to reenact with rifles, but that could just be for added historical effect.

@darklion53 it all depends on the group, im 16 and im a reenactor so find a group and just check there policy.
