Ezra Taft Benson sheds light on the importance of the Constitution which ONLY Ron Paul supports 100%. No other candidate strives to support the Constitution 100% but Ron Paul. A true Patriot supports the Constitution.
I'm Mormon and I love Ron Paul's stance on government and support him 110%... We must not be afraid to stand up to our rights beliefs and morals... "Bad men prevail when Good men do NOTHING." I truly believe that. I love this nation, I love my church and I want the best for it and he is our answer. Ron Paul 2012!!!
I am a devout democrat, I want freedom from religion. You give me a conservative Republican who will stay out of my wife's ovaries and tell my son he does not have to pray in school, then I will vote for him.
The Biggest problem in this country is that we are trying to be the worlds' policeman, with the church right behind us telling us what to do. We need to stay out of their business, and they need to stay out of ours.
Why would Obama have changed his positions on Gitmo, the Patriot Act, and Iraq? Obviously, there is intelligence that the President knows that can't be shared to the public. Reality has hit him that even though the events around these issues appear messy and not principally sound to some, American citizens must be protected and our ally Israel must be as well.
@dclift212 Great point on Obama's decisions on gitmo, etc. Clearly, he does know something. Let's be real folks, he's a lawyer and knows what he said.
@dclift212 or he could just be playing politics..... like every other president. Why are all the democrats now supporting those? they didn't before, and they don't know anything new. politics.
I guess all I'd like to hear is people admit that it has been effective in bringing terrorists to justice by preventing attacks and saving life. Even if you don't like the law, at least admit that it has been effective because otherwise you would be saying that you'd basically be fine with innocent lives dying just for the sake of keeping little freedom that has been sacrificed by it.
I'm sorry but as much as I have becoming to agree more and more with Libertarians, I don't understand why they get so mad about the Patriot Act. I would like to have changed some aspects of the law but it is better to have it then not. When terrorism starts to not be a problem, I guarantee you that the government WILL let it expire and not use it for non terrorist acts by citizens. If candidate Obama was so against it, then why has he extended it at President?
I wonder when the lamanites will: Morm. 5: 20-24... 22 And then, O ye Gentiles, how can ye stand before the power of God, except ye shall repent and turn from your evil ways? 23 Know ye not that ye are in the ahands of God?... 24 Therefore, repent ye, and humble yourselves before him, lest he shall come out in justice against you—lest a remnant of the seed of Jacob shall go forth among you as a lion, and tear you in pieces, and there is none to deliver.
They aren't the only ones: some states representatives are starting a motion to reinstate the 10th amendment (States rights)... some cities are now refusing to pay taxes... there are many unhappy people out there... I just hope it won't get bloody.
Ron Paul is endorsing Chuck Baldwin. This revolution will require that we all become leaders. Ron Paul is just the beginning... he is a true patriot. Where are you? It is time we step up to the plate.
Ron Paul is endorsing Chuck Baldwin. This revolution will require that we all become leaders. Ron Paul is just the beginning... he is a true patriot. Where are you? It is time we step up to the plate.
Well, I'm not so sure that I totally agree with Mr. Skousen on this issue. I believe that Mitt Romney really wants to help repair America. I'm also not so sure that when Christ returns that talking about the political mumbo-jumbo will be at the top of His priority list. That's just my opinion though. I mean, who am I to say what topics Christ will want to address?
If that were true, he would not support McCain who is very liberal. He would stand for the Constitution and against all that has torn the Constitution apart. You would hear him sounding more like Ron Paul
Well, McCain may have some liberal stances but he is the most conservative that we have. Of course he is going to support McCain over Hillary or Obama. There is no other option. The better of two evils if you will.
No. he could have backed Ron Paul or stood on Constitutional principles himself. He should have known that only Congress can declare war not the president talking to his attorney's. He does not know the Constitution, so he can not defend it.
Ah that whole thing was blown out of proportion anyways. Presidents in the past have went to congress asking for a declaration of war. Surely they consulted with their attorneys or somebody before doing it. Nevertheless, the question was about taking out Irans nuclear facilities. I could care less. When you get nuclear and you got a wussy liberal congress that backtracks on the Iraq war... then do whatever you gotta do to get rid of those nuclear facilities. RP was a joke in the debates anyways.
I used to think the same and then my eyes were opened. 24 Wherefore, the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this asecret combination which shall be among you; or wo be unto it, because of the blood of them who have been slain; for they cry from the dust for vengeance upon it, and also upon those who built it up.
There is much more but start with this. Have we become pro-God or anti-enemy?
Yea... people will wake up and realize that we all have to become champions of the Constitution which promotes free will and choice. I see no other way to save the Constitution except by the hand of the almighty... and it is truely hanging by a thread just like all the freedoms we enjoy.
Then what system do you propose people voted based on? Atheism? This nation was founded as a Christian nation, and on those beliefs, and in order to maintain it, we must uphold and defend those beliefs, as well as the Constitution which was created by Jesus Christ through wise men he raised up for that purpose. We must truly vote on principle and nothing else, we must stand for something, not fall for everything.
As a Colombian and Mormon guy, my opinion is that it doesn't matter what they believe as candidates, but how they do things: Right or wrong. Right is to stay in the country for the welfare of the USA people. Wrong is to invade other's nations. In the very same way other conutry's wise presidents don't invade USA no matter their beliefs. If I were a gringo (thank Father I'm not) I would vote for Obamma.
first of all other countries don't invade the U.S because they don't want the crap kicked out of them. But that's beside the point. You're missing the point of this video.
Classic example of a gringo who doesn't care about anything else apart of his own buttocks... Pres. Benson was NOT in favor of war overseas. Check his not-religious adresses.
I've watch it, and it is just crap. Pseudo-scientist talking 'bout wrong-directed experiments trying to destroy something the producer personally hates without a real groundbase. In other word, just crap.

Fortunately, we don't have to rely on the statements of numerous modern prophets which your world-worship requires you to believe are just "opinions". We can read the scriptures (D&C 98, 134) where it is all laid out just as clearly. See my video response.

You know, a little nice music and the words of a highly opinionated member of the church, Brother Skousen, doesn't make what he says objective and or true. He wants his person to win so he will say as convincingly as possible that Romney is bad. Using a montage of the voice of prophets and and concepts from the BOM are parallels that sound ominous but are just not realistic. This is a total Ron Paul hit piece
Agree. I suspect Mitt Romney doesn want to be President as badly as Skousen wishes he was a General Authority of the LDS Church. Another academic reading by "...the lamp of [his] own conceit"
Your right VoiceofMelody. I remember a word in the mission called "Bucking" for leadership. I see so many people who buck for leadership and it makes me laugh. Have you ever seen so many men stand in Testimony meeting to bare their's when a bishop get released? Skousen is the same.
Oh how I wish I had seen this earlier. I wish I had know about Dr. Paul.. in California. I can see that those in power had a used Mitt Romney as a decoy for most of us LDS. I think people are starting to wake up out of their slumber. Join campaign for liberty... Look on line. I fear our nation will not last another 4 years! But never the less I trust the Lord so come what may... at least is reliable.
@ds4081 I feel charged with a duty to my creator and to my fellow countrymen this day to uphold the title of liberty in all the places I stand and all the things that I say and do. My brothers and Sisters, hoist the flag of liberty and bear it on your shoulders as a free citizen of this blessed nation.
