So yeah... What that "loop current break" actually was was an eddy loop detachment. These happen all the time. The loop current is doing fine as of 19 Jan 12.

It's an eddy in the Loop Current. This is a regular occurrence. Look up "loop current eddy" in wikipedia.

@kaixoananaiz Well, moving to a warmer climate is the probable permanent fix. Outside of that gear up. Have some bottled water, canned foods, propone stove (in case power lines freeze and you lose out) back up generator if possible.

Why is it I can't find anything about this "Gianluigi Zangari" at the official website of Frascati National Laboratories, the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN) ? The Geophysical Association of italy (Associazione Geofisica) and INFN are not the same organisation. A search on the INFN website turns up nothing on this scientist. The CCAR shows the real time Mesoscale Altimetry for today, December 18th shows an unbroken current. (Click on Near Real-Time Velocity Viewer) . Looks normal.

@misterflaff Sorry, my bad, today's the 20th LOL !! The data is from the 18th. I still can't find anything on this scientist, a google search just turns up conspiracy sites, and the gulf loop current is normal according to the most recent altimetries, so I'm assuming this is bogus. The Associazione Geofisica is a non profit organisation with a board of directors according to it's website, which publishes a magazine edited by doctors and scientists based elsewhere. Nothing to do with the INFN.

It seems that the Illuminati are going everything possible to destroy our world. I have heard the theory that it was the dispersant which the government sprayed all over the gulf to make the oil sink to the bottom of the gulf that has caused the current to stall or stop. I don't know if this is true or not. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks.

I have seen it cooling and breaking off in the East Coast now that it is September. Also we have reports that say the north is already a month early in starting their winter time. The ocean current alone does not trigger an Ice age but trigger extreme weather like the angelic scorn website has stated years ago, solar activity combined with ocean currents will trigger the next ice age and there will be a next ice age. If that current stops Europe will freeze over well the north anyway

These are a feature of the Loop Current and are known as an "Eddy" or "Loop Current ring" that separates from the Loop Current, somewhat randomly. These rings then drift to the west at speeds of about 5 cm/s (0.18 km/h or 0.11 mph) and bump into the coast of Texas or Mexico.

The 2 pics on the right clearly show the Loop Current still exists and wrapping around Cuba.

Explain that.
