You where either a beetles or an Elvis fan...back in the day you where either a "Swap Shop" or a "Tiswas" fan...seeing as though I had nothing to swap...Tiswas it was !!!

@handsomedude1 ex wife one would not let me watchat home , so a groupof us went into work and watched on the TV in my office she didn't realse. One- Nil to the good guys
the arguments between my 2 younger brothers and i on a saturday morning over shitswap or tiswas. my ol' man thought my brothers where mad 'cause they prefered swap shop. trite fucking crap that was for middle class mummys boys, shirtlifters and the brain dead.
@barnessutcliffe We never had that problem - up my way (Tyne Wear Television, we got - the Geordie community station that was receivable as far south as York!), it was Swap Shop only for kids - with BBC 2 showing either a test card or Open University and ITV showing old war films or Ealing comedies, we couldn't get this mysterious non-existent channel that showed Tiswas.
@SweetVitriol - sally james in her knee high boots and black mini skirt - that childhood vision made sure I grew into a healthy sex crazed boot fetishist - hehehehe
The show that made gunging audiences and guests alike into an art. Razzmatazz, Blue Peter, Ministry Of Mayhem, Nickoledeon Awards, and Generation Game eventually all got into doing it as well. Excellent theme tune, and the show played an important part in my childhood TV. I'd like to see gunging brought into Question Time in Parliament like whenever a politician says something stupid or unpopular or interrupts another politician they get a whole bucket of gunge dumped on them.
better than the load of crap they show on tv these days.....you wouldnt know a decent kids tv show if you directed it,.......kids of my error made this the BEST EVER KIDS SHOW
We loved Tiswas in our house - our mum used to let us have Phantom Flan Flinger parties in the back garden - a roll of black binbags, paper plates and a bottle of fairy liquid would keep us occupied all afternoon lol!!!
We need people like you to keep childhood memories alive and in regards PiggyMongol, do away with the Piggy bit the latter name serves you better you Mong.
i was glad they finally got rid of it.the guests and sketches were the same every week and the jokes were so corny and telegraphed they were embarrassing.i really hated it towards the end
why cant we do tv like this again. we didnt have to worry about Ipods ,Itouchs, anythhing just having a laugh.silly but so much fun. Now its all commercial crap, and Japanese anime

Some guys in Britain comments that TISWAS´ logo was the inspiration for 2012 London Games´logo.
(By the way, didn´t had controversies there with this logo ´cause the s design? Resembles to the logo of the SS,
Receive greetings.
