actually cats are very resilient when it comes to falling from multi-storied buildings. there are accounts of cats surviving with just bruising from 40 story drops off of hi-rise apartments. read up on it, it's pretty cool.

We have a cat just like this except black and white and he is incredibly high maintenance. He spends 95% percent of his time outside doing God knows what and when he comes home and demands to be fed we have to hold him down and brush the knots and debris out of his fur. @NorwegianSportsGuy Yes, actually. If your kitty is a male NFC, 10kg is not uncommon. My own NFC male kitty weights about the same. It's borderline, according to my vet, but not uncommon.
