  • There is something very artistic about your videos, I really enjoy them.

  • Dude, can I have the download link for your Clint Mansell Requiem song please D: I cant find Violins only

  • @CombatArmsLegiit its just a part of it where only violins play, its not a special version

  • TUTORIAL! THUMBS UP IF YOU WOULD LIKE ONE TOO! :D

  • EL MEJOR !!!

  • nice job!!!!

Whats the name of this song at 0:27 ??

  • FUCK YOU! im so jealous i wish my pc could handle particles like this :(

  • how did u do this hairy render of ur particle? Krakatoa? or? Really cool stuff

  • Now do this to dubstep :P

  • You are gifted with animating particles! God bless!

  • whats the song at :50 seconds?? i never remember the name

  • Very very nice job!!!!

Whats the name of this song at 0:40 ?

  • @The3DFreak3D It is either the Heavy Rain Soundtrack (search on youtube, first result) or it is Requiem for a Dream.

  • Took me awhile to figure out it was in Anaglyph 3D :-/

  • @salman6896 :D it is not 3D sorry

  • @salman6896

lol - I'm sorry, the thought of you (or anyone) sitting there with some old school 3D glasses trying see the 3D on this vid made me chuckle.. Just little bit ;) I do see what you mean though.. I think there's some weird stuff going on with the youtube compression scheme that gives it a red/blue tinge in some shots. Doesn't take away from this awesome piece one bit though..

  • @salman6896 its not A3D but what u might have seen is chromatic Abberation in the depth of field

  • one lonely person on this planet cant enjoy a good show of art...

  • 0:52-1:27 PURE MAGIC!!!

  • My god, the one on 0:53 should be used in a Sony commercial :) Very VERY nice work

  • Your a beast

  • Hey Matthiasm, this is awesome!

I'm interested int he last example.is it possible to achieve something similar to that in after effects cs4?

    Thank you!

  • @MBlu3 yes, look up particular

  • Wow~ very good~

  • love this

  • How did you et the particles to explode in the fourth? or is that sound reactor aswell? :D

  • sorry just wondering, well if you get a chance to read this, i assume you used particle source with boxes for the first and third clips? if so how did you manage to get each partcile to react to a collision with another? rather than just going through.

    thanks :D

  • on the 3th animation how these colors are made what makes them shine... and,,,, and the movement to music.. i know that its controler audio but to which paramter is it atached?

  • wish my video player can do that

  • Truely amazing videos you have.

  • how did u do the glow effect in the particles?, with krakatoa?

  • bro, the way you manipulate the particles is fucking EPIC!!!, you are an inspiration for me thanks!!, i love the second 28, the change on the speed of the particles are great!!, if u could recommend me anything, i would apreciate it!!

  • That's wonderful...

  • would be an amazing visualization

  • Awesome!

  • This is really beautiful. Can you please tell me the name of the piano song?

  • I can only say: Perfect!

  • did you use reactor or physx?

    by the way

    which better physx or reactor

  • @gtagtagtagtag i did use physx, reactor is already quite old physx is a lot faster but there are still some things you cant do with physx in max for now as far is i know

  • Lovin this my friend! Brilliant work!

  • This is just amazing! The last scene was the best in my opinion.

Do you happen to know of any Particle flow / Krakatoa tutorials on YouTube that could help get me started?

  • just amazing !! sorry but what are your specs of your pc, ?? what video card you have ? what processor? and RAM memory , and how much time you take to render something like this ^^ please =)

  • @pex98

*pss* try a "pretty please".. maybe he will answer cause i want to know it too.

  • The last one was amazing.

  • may I know your system spec? using render farm?!

  • ....(speechless)

  • i think this is a blend of technology and beautiful mind ... superb.

  • suger cubes!!! :D

  • sound reactive, nice job!

  • oh well there we go, nice job!

  • oh well there we go. :D nice job!

  • I would LOVE to see you do a visualisation to a Clint Mansell song from The Fountain. Preferably Death is the Road to Awe, but it is an 8min song, so it'd be alot of work...

  • hey, i'm working on 3ds max since beginning of 2008 but only modeling stuff... so what did u used for sound ? I mean how the particles react with the sound ? i don't need to explain me with details because i know that is annoying but if you could help me with some "search strings" to search on Google will be great :D .. thanks

  • @andreySC7 for the first clip i did use the audio controller in max, for 2nd and 3rd i painted the motion path with my wacom tablet using the motion capture controller

  • have you animate this with keyframes or a sound reactor?

  • @TOLIGANERSTRIKER depends on the clip but i used both

  • what program did u use?

  • beautiful

  • how long does this take to render

  • @detibry the particle only stuff takes some seconds to render each frame, the cubes about 3 or 4 minutes each frame.

  • The last one is really beautiful. I WANT IT!!

  • you must of had a fun time rendering.

  • pretty nice stuff mate, can you give some ideas about those all made, how can we built this kind of scene,or audio control them?

  • and i'm waiting until computers are strong eneough to render this as visualisations for... media player as an example xD

  • AMAZING! Really nice stuff here. "Nothing too fancy yet" - Really? I can't wait to see the "fancy" stuff!

  • es absolutamente increible

  • Very nice love ur videos! Why does it look anagyph 3d:P?

  • @DeZorgenkindjes

there is an phenomena called chromatic aberration. If you exaggerate this effect it looks like anaglyph 3d and i tend to exaggerate it sometimes :)

  • i call it chromatic adoration! i love it too so star trek was like sex for me

  • 2 and 4 = AWESOME!!!!

  • the last one is awesome

  • The part with "requiem for a dream"

    LOL

  • why LOL is it funny for you ?didnt intend to make it funny :)

  • that's really coool how you do this ??? did you used Krakatoa PLG ???? !!!!

  • audio controller in max or hand animation

  • I love the last one!

  • man that last one was so cool. how did you do that? how did you make the particles jump out like that?

  • kann man deine Arbeiten als Bildschirmschoner bekommen?

  • very nice. im assuming your using box #2 for the dynamic particles in the cube scenes?

I like the Fur look you get with your krak renders, that must be something with 1.5.

Also if your useing 1.5 which i assume you are. Are you direct rendering the fume sim with krak, or are you still pumping it through particle flow first?

  • yeah box#2 and box#3 to thin out the fur on the tips (decreasing density)

in this video there is nothing done with fume, however i my others clips i run them trough particle flow first since you have greater control by doing so, and its still realy fast

  • what is the name of the piano piece in the beginning?

  • Amazing as always!

  • sehr, sehr klasse!

  • That's great! This is seriously AMAZING! Oh, awesome job man, I need to learn some of this stuff from you! No, seriously. PM me and I'll give you hotmail, because I have 3DS Max, and I really love this abstract animation. Top notch work, my only hesititation in giving it 5 is ideally, I'd like to give it 6.

  • echt abgefahren, was du da mit krakatoa anstellst! super ding! grüße aus der nachbarschaft :-)
