I had the privelege to see Anais open for Ani Difranco in St. Louis, Missouri under the St. Louis Arch. It was amazing. There were thousands of people there for the free show. She came to where my friends and I sat and sat right in front of me!!!! I was starstruck. We saw Ani from the same place in the audience and it was amazing because she was on tour with Ani (one of my favorite musicians). Anais is absolutely amazing live!!  :)

She's crazy talented. I saw her once at a house concert with no more than 30 other people. One of the best musical performances I've ever attended. Oh, she speaks arabic too :)

that was pretty bad - terrible conditions - seemed like she had trouble focusing and even keeping beat with the airplane? in the background. Her music is really something, though. Anais Mitchel is a great songwriter.

She needs a good manager, but she seems the type to forgo one and I suppose that's part of her charm. Nice there are people like this still around
