That is little known gem of the Corrida de Toros. If you beat the last bull of the street and into the stadium you get to be in the stadium with the bulls. Once the bulls enter the stadium they are diverted out. Then bulls are brought into the stadium to run around and people try to taunt the bulls. I did this in 2006 and saw a man get gored in the back just feet from me. It was the most intense run/experience of my life.

I live in Pamplona... you can't touch the bulls when your running, because if, say, you touch/hit a bull anywhere, it might turn and run the wrong way... charging into people, and the other bulls, the other bulls then do the same and lots and I mean LOTS of people will die.

You carry rolls of news papers with you, then if a bull is about to hit you, let the paper go in its face and it will get confused and forget about you...
