  • The Unknown world has not been unknown since 2006.

    It's Lehon now.

  • i always loved this planet the most :) the themes awake the memories of the good old time when i played the game for the first time

  • they should make movies out of the kotor series but this time DONT HAVE CHEESY LINES LIKE THE MOVIES

  • @carbineaction32 Damn straight! Kotor is the best is thing to happen to Star Wars since the Original Trilogy.

  • @FellFather To Star Wars? Yes, but more importantly: my life/our lifes!

  • I think I'm going to cry :(

  • merhawk u da shit @ setting dis upp

  • the music is from brotherhood of shadow

  • @LPsupermarcel No, it was used in Brotherhood of Shadow, it was music that was made for KOTOR but never used in the game, but was still in the files. So they used it for Brotherhood of Shadow.

  • @Senza32 oh ok ^^

  • @Senza32 oh ok ^^

  • @Senza32

It actually does make an appearance in-game. On Korriban, at a certain point, you're given a holocron to deliver to Tatooine for some credits. You're strongly warned not to open it on the way. If you DO open it...well, let's you'll get a chance to hear this music, for one thing.

  • i always wondered if there was other ppl on this planet other then the rakata and those duros you come across considering how many ships crashed landed on the planet. If i get stranded on a planet it would be this one, Lehon. aka The Unknown World. But i'd rather not be on an island wwere they natives try to kill me though.

  • @darthpesticide Hard to believe that after spending a few days on it, everyone had beaten it five times, too. Shit, this game was awesome. Best ever, don't you think?

  • please remake this game next gen!

  • Thumbs up from all you hardcore Star Wars fans out there who know that the Unknown world's actual name is Lehon!

  • @Reclaimer1547 i remember thinkin it was dathomir because of all the rancors >.>

  • @Medilator Nope, look it up... the Rancors are there because a ship crash landed there with the Rancors

  • @Reclaimer1547 yeah i know that, what i meant that is when i first played the game i thought it was dathomir, i know that it isnt now =D

  • @Medilator Oh ok lol

  • I remember it taking weeks for me to finish this game the first time, Such good memories

  • I love how this was used for the Brotherhood of Shadow.

  • Amazing composer and amazing artists. Some of the best game music (and one of the best games) ever created. Simply fantastic

  • KOTOR is the reason i still hav my original xbox...

  • there will never be a game like KOTOR... nothing so far through these past 8-9 years have I ever came across a better game...

  • @neptali54 Until SWTOR, my friend. :)

  • @ASHL0TTE SWTOR is an MMORPG.. KoTOR is an RPG..Even SWTOR won't have the feel like KoTOR

  • @neptali54 The Uncharted series came pretty close for me, but no, I agree, this game is the best

  • I love Star Wars movies, video games, and I'm a girl <3

  • @musicgirl2966 whoa. this is rare. haha.

  • This game is just so so so different. Indescribable. had it since it came out, never stopped loving it since.

  • i love star wars

  • This music is fantastic, especially when you open the strange box the hutt gives you and you get trapped in an empty world with a rakata.

  • where were u able to download this music?

  • This was the perfect theme for Brotherhood of Shadow. I mean it sounds depressing because it tells of how the Brotherhood was destroyed. That mod should not just been in the game but be made canon. My recommendation play the damn mod now. Or download it. Or buy the game.

  • I loved this game to death. Saddened by its demise, I went out and tried to locate a similar game.

By God, Mass Effect 2 was a step below this game--which is pretty damn amazing.

If anyone desires the same effect this game possessed, go out and play Mass Effect 2. It's definitely not as good, but you'll find yourself in worlds similar to this game.

  • @SolidSnake3131 Yeah, Mass Effect 2 and Kotor are my joint favorite games of all time.

  • @connorkwl bioware is amazing.

  • @SolidSnake3131 play dragon age origins. its almost as good as kotor

  • @kackeausarschsauger7

It's certainly close, but I never really gave it a chance. I need to play that game again sometime.

  • @kackeausarschsauger7 ya but it doesnt have that effect on you like kotor did

  • if you fill a cup full of water and then blow with your lips just above the water you'll sound like one of those rakatan dudes

  • just hearing the music makes me want to play, right now im going to play both kotor games and beat them again for the tenth time!

  • This music has a very mysterious feel about it.

  • Of course, this music also comes from somewhere else. Who else looked inside the Mysterious Box? That was my favorite part of the game.

  • When the rakata attacked me for the first time i immediatly thinked: ITS A TRAP

  • The unknown world is my favorite planet. You get to reclaim your identity as Darth Revan, you get to kill Jolee and Juhani and my favorite is making Zalbaar kill Mission. Also I like the way the Rakata talk and sound.

  • @Riuk881 holy shit dude i tried turning to the dark side and when it got to the part where i had to kill mission i just turned off my xbox i couldnt do it the worst part in the game

  • @justgoaz Aww its okay. I like to be evil in games because its so opposite of how I am with real people

  • @Riuk881 lol ya i like being being good couse it makes me feel like a good person haha plus my brother was always bad so i wanted to see the other ending too

  • @justgoaz yeah, i couldnt kill mission. its one of my favourite characters

  • @polszus ya she kicks sooo much ass

  • Why the hell is there something about dust mites in the suggestions?

  • The brotherhood of shadow will rise!!!

  • Lehon has got to be one of the most beautiful planets in the Unknown Regions

  • @MetalShouldBeAFaith Although the Islands are not natural, but the result of war ^^

  • @systemhalodark still beautiful. in a warlike, savage kind of way

  • oh, the time with solomons revenge was like holidays from the original game *~*

  • Revan: Do not worry. Someone else will come along.

  • kotor wouldnt be what it is without its bad ass music! thumbs up if you agree!!

  • @0oDarkLordRevano0 I actually played this game with the original movies soundtracks. And it was like playing an entirely different game! If you still have it, I recommend making a playlist with the classic OST's just for the heck of it!

  • @FredrikEastling Cool :P I'll try that!

  • I love this game I lost so many days playing this game

  • there is no force

    there is only shadow

    arikinon sinn

  • @anakin87654 That is pretty sweet

  • THIS IS THE BEST F*^&ING GAME EEEVVVEERRR!!!!!!

  • when i hear this song i think of bad things that have happend in my life and it just helps me deal with them i know i may sound stupid but i'm sure other people agree

  • this was originaly sleheyrons music

  • i thought this was only the mystery box theme

  • @birthdaycake13 In the mystery box you encounter an old Rakata, right? Just remember where they come from…

  • @MrAbgeBrandt The one also i think you recieve a box if you tinker with youl see a Rakata in it also they come from Lehon also known as "The Forgotten World"

  • i love this

  • Nerd info:

This was originally gonna be used for Sleheyron, according to Wookieepedia and KotOR's music files. That would also fit into the Rakatan computer's question of life-giving and life-taking worlds (as "volcanic" seed).

I'm sure BioWare could've made Sleheyron an awesome planet if it were included. Remember that Yuthura Ban was originally from Sleheyron?

It would've been awsome to visit these poor Twi'leks in this appearently harsh, volcanic, and Hutt-controlled world. =)

  • @AdamWeith

And what's the point I'm trying to make?

That this music would've suited Sleheyron, as it's a little sad (00:00-00:37), but still filled with hope (00:38-00:53) and 01:07-01:17 makes me think of the greedy and tyrant Hutts' control over the poor planet.

I'd like to visit Sleheyron in a future Star Wars game. :)

  • @AdamWeith you could well in a mod for kotor PC but i like the vanilla experience

  • @StarWarsUltimanium

I don't think the "Sleheyron Restoration Project" is even close to finished, and even if the modders finish it, there's just not enough content left in the game files to fully restore the planet to the same scale as the other planets are.

And Yuthura is from Sleheyron, she says that the Hutts controlled Sleheron and that a slave (such as herself) were worth nothing to them. She killed her cruel master before she escaped Sleheyron.

  • @AdamWeith oh ya cause not too many Hutts on Nar Shadda and Nal Hutta is just BLEH

  • @AdamWeith

Actually the original Sleheyron restoration stopped because of something or another, I think Quarn and the other guy, who are amazing at making new modules are working on it, from what I saw on Holowon, they have new locations that capture the feel from what is left of the sleheyron modules

  • @AdamWeith i thought she was from Nar Shadaa Or Nal Hutta

  • beauty at its most

  • truly an excellent piece of music

  • The first 40 seconds of this song nearly bring me to tears! Such a brilliant peice, such a brilliant game, such nostalgia. In my opinion, it will never be topped.

    *End gushing.*

  • Even if it's 7 years old still the best game ever!

  • @MrAbgeBrandt hell yes beleve it ornot kotors been my favorite game ever since it came out

  • Wait a minute...this isn't the Unknown World theme. This is the "secret box" theme from if you open it. It's also the theme to the mod "Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge" for this game too.

  • No, it's called "Lehon" or "Rakata Prime"

  • i fall in love with this music...

  • Jeremy Soule=Win

  • I think months our years is a more accurate count on how much time has been spent on this classic.

  • a great song, very great, for me, this song is like my sentiments

  • i like this music

  • This song also plays in the mind prison you pick up on Korriban. I remember feeling really bad for the guy who was trapped in there.

  • that was a really cool if disturbing sidequest, one of my favourite in the game.

Its basically the star wars equivalent of the hobbit chapter Riddles in the Dark

  • yep, thats the one!

  • Comment removed

  • i LOVE this game

    and the music ist amazing.

  • I said: O...M...G! when I hear this song, absolutely fantastic! I must play this game again! :)

  • yes me too

  • This song is so sad! =(

  • This should be used in the mmo as well. This is an awesome piece. Has a nice beginning and at the end it hints something dark. Perhaps should be used in a trailer

  • I just love this song, one of the most soothing ones out there.

Imho if this had to be retitled, it would be "Revan's Teachings" :D

  • once drank myself to near death and listened to this song for 8 hours strait. wasn't conscious the entire time though.

  • Tough times?

  • 21st birthday

  • But you had to reset it every 1.23, right?

  • it was on repeat. think im gonna reset it that many times?

  • Reapeat? I did not think that was possible. How do you do that?

  • opened it with miles music player. it was the only way to listen to it without playing the game. i'll tell you, that music was the only thing not spinning

  • Great music

  • This also plays when you open the "Mysterious Box" (Rakatan prison).

  • I hate that Mysterious Box

When he says "Do not open", I'll believe him next time

  • It was awesome...yet cruel.

  • I actually enjoyed it

    It was like the Matrix

I showed my friends and I'm like "Hey guys I'm in the Matrix!

  • Think he ever gets out? It seems doubtful.

  • Not unless that fat hutt decides to either trick someone to open it or take a peek himself

  • Yeah, he could have thought "If that human survived, maybe it's not as useful to have as I thought."

  • @NaturalSelection2 I hope Motta opened it :P

  • @CloneWarsStudio

Motta knows what it is and what the box does. I don't think he's that stupid, probably he'll send it to someone else like a gift.

  • That's why I actually delivered the box afterall, When I got out, I felt so sorry for the guy trapped in there, I delivered it, hoping the hutt would open it >:)

  • The music is beautiful. It makes me feel a sense of wonder, and i begin to reflect upon the world and it's mysteries. For instance: what is this place, what is the purpose, and so on. Even makes me reflect upon the real world's mysteries.

  • the rakata are the biggest influence in the star wars universe

  • Yea, I wish that the Star Forge would survive so that other Sith masters can come and control them. :(

  • this music was played in the white box not the unknown world:P

  • Either way, the box was made by rakatans.

  • its so weird how this game depicts kashyyk having shadowgrounds and and all those levels of the forest but in episode three u see none of that its all one level which I kinda like better.

  • I think that those depicted in ROS look like that because they are close to water. In KotOR I, you don't see any water nearby.

  • And in Star Wars Republic Commando they explain the ROTS situation, it's a Wookie city built on a beach, but there's shadowlands and stuff past it.

  • Well, kotor 1 was thousands of years before episode 3 and the battle scene was probly on the other side of the world of Kashyyk...

  • The 'unknown planet is also known as Lehon, and the 'builders' where also called rakata.

At 35,000 B.BY the ratakans conquered 500 worlds in the galaxy ( a.k.a. infinite empire), but by 25,000 B.B.Y their people where struck by a plague which killed most of them, and killed their connection to the force, they soon retreated back the lehon.

The Rakata soon became extinct after the jedi civil war because their gene pool rapidly became too limited to sustain the species.

  • You forgot to mention that the Rakata are responsible for the gigantic trees on Kashyyyk, and for glassing Tatooine from orbit.

  • O.O

  • How?

  • I don't know about Kashyyyk, but when Tatooine was a jungle world inhabited by a race called the Kumumgah (Sand People & Jawa ancestors), the Kumumgah struck out in rebellion. The Rakatans responded with a Halo-style full-scale orbital plasma bombardment, melting the outer surface of the planet. The black glass that resulted from this eventually broke down into sand, making the Tatooine we know today.

  • Trees of Kashyyyk were under dark side corruption of star map there, which also made beasts there evolve so that they are now vile and savage. Wookies were unaffected becouse they lived high above the shadowlands.

  • Wow. I thought they called it Rakata Prime.

  • 22ntz22

That is another name for it as well.

  • Or the Unknown world...

  • Or Lehon.

  • who conducted all of the kotor music?

  • Jeremy Soule for K1.

  • star wars DOES have great music

  • Kotor really had some beatuiful music, and the unknown world was no exeption! This piece fits the environment very well, and ofc. the story which it is buil tupon. An ancient species long crippled - by the force i think cant recall what made the builders fall.. Anyways, Bioware knew how to make the music right in their game for sure.

  • where is this music played in the game apart from mysterious box

  • The planet looks like it could almost be utopia. The music adds.

  • More likely it became hot and tropical 50,000 years after the world was wrecked due to ecological recovery. It is possible to permanently kill a planets ecology but its harder than you think. We are more likely to run out of oil/coal/gas before we cause an irreparable collapse of the ecosystem due to global warming and carbon emissions.

  • This muic worked especially well inside "the mysterious box"

  • I love it tere. Sutch a cruel prison! But you are right the musik was perfect there.

  • I miss the musik from the Ebon Hawks departure and arival at Kashyeek

  • I LUV THIS SONG!!!!!!! It makes me feel both sad and happy. Star Wars always has great music.

  • That's true, no matter if it is Soule or Williams, it always sounds great! :D

  • Wonderful!

  • Great music
