@bogoalexea I had an abortion, but I was carried to the table by His incredible love and how He sent Jesus to take my sin for me. I could not help but say yes, I want that kind of a Father's love in my life. I give my life to you. Today I am forgiven, freed from all guilt by this amazing forgiving God who sent His only son to die in my place. Abortion forgiven because Jesus took the whole world's sin when He died on that cross that day. I was carried to the table. A place I did not belong!

If I may be so bold, Jesus said, "A bruised reed [I] will not break" I suppose one could laugh at the one who considers it great strength to not say, "O My God!", but given that to honor God's name is to honor God and to not say "O My God!" is legitimately counter-cultural, I think we should say, "Hi Five thebudds1" ! Is there more to Christian life? You betcha, but as the Scriptures also say, "Build up what remains..." (Rev. 2 or 3 somewhere) Jesus, we love you, and be glorifies in us.

This song comes from the story of Mephibosheth. Bible says his legs were paralyzed but when he was carried to the table his legs were hidden so no one could see his condition. This is what Jesus did for us....He carried us to the Kings table so now our sin is no longer seen by everyone. This is what the song means to me.

If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." Being 'carried to the table of the Lord' represents our place in Heaven and being carried to the table is a very high honour, reserved for those who believe and receive Christ as Lord. (John 1:13)

i attended a christian highschool and 2 years ago during 11th grade, my Bible teacher and my class sponsors felt like they were being led to have a footwashing ceremony for us. We went to a quiet room away from the noise of a school day and they dipped our feet in a bowl, prayed for each one of us, and there were 23 of us. It was such an emotional time. We wrote requests and put them in a bowl of water in the center of the room. This song was playing and we all felt the HS working in there.
We went on a missions trip a couple weeks ago, and my class was doing devotions, when my teacher started singing this. I started crying, and I was so sad because my sister had a miscarriage, and THIS SONG reminded me that he (the baby) was at that table.
2 pictures really impress me ... the one of a guy in water holding a baby the higher that he can ... and the last picture at the end ... lot of emotion in this video ! Thanks for sharing this with us !
