Personally, I think the Bee Gees - is, was and will always be the best song writers, singers and performers EVER. I’ve been following there music since the 60’s and they have always been a class act. I can’t say enough good things about them. I don’t even listen to the radio anymore, because nothing worth listening to is being recorded. All musicians should emulate the Bee Gees. Hoagie

I love the bee gees my mom god rest her soul got me into the bee gees when i was 16 and still 12 years later im still a huge fan lol i remember when i was younger it was my mom+ barry my sister+ Maurice and me+ robin lol.

Not to sound weak, but whenever I hear this song my eyes get watery. This was the song my sister and her boyfriend listened to as she battled cancer. They played it at her funeral and I always go back to that day when I hear it.

This was my mothers favorite songs to listen to. She loved the Bee Gees. Her and my dad would listen to it all the time together. Unfortunately my mother passed away suddenly last July. Sometimes I just think about my mom and listen to her favorite songs on here in her memory. Love you and miss you mom.

Of course they used technology in their studio sessions but Robin has a

great falsetto voice as well, for example on "Living together" and of course

on his "How old are you" album from 1983 and especially on the song

"Don't stop the night".

So it's not 50 Barry's but a marvellous blend of those 3 harmonies!!!!!

I heard this song about jan 2000, I loved it then from my first hearing, and still do. I played it many times one after another, I actually cried, from the emotion i could feel, so sincere so beleivable, the execution, mixing, harmonies, guitar work, key change adlibs, are so right, well thought through, and organised, thanks for the post.

Just one more comment on this song. If you listen closely the harmonies have barry's real voice and falsetto as well. Creates a beautiful blend but only in studio

after mid 70's the harmonies are due to technology. For instance, Robin does not have a falsetto and Maurice has a weak one. For instance, too much heaven is all barry gibb harmonies and lead thanks to techology that is 50 Barry gibbs sing at once. I still love their lyrics and melodies but i wish they had not overprocessed the harmonies that could not be replicated in live. btw, I have ALL bee gees, Robin solo and Barry solo albums from 1964 to 2001. They are one of all time greats..
