  • Your video went viral on Congo

  • tipicall brakes hand brake engine brake engine cut off ? He was an idiot. 1st darwing price for bad driving.

  • In this case you shouldn't shut your engine down as you'll lose power steering. You should put the car into neutral first!

  • @lilydalebunny No! just hit the break. a test showed that normally you need ~35m from 100-0. At full throttle you just need ~40m from 100-0 because the brakes are multiple times stronger than the accelerator. you could also declutch/set on neutral. shutting the motor off wouldnt be good because then you loose your break magnifier. even worse: if you pull the keys you driving wheels locks. just hit the break.

  • its true but we still need for the BACKUP MY FRIEND!

it can't be so that bad if we can't afford at least a chance of choosing a color!

  • throw the fucking thing into neutral gear and slam on the brakes.

  • @arielrodrigo: What a sad guy; this dirty guy is S.Korean pretending from Argentina. These guys are who wrote a lot of complaints against Toyota without reason... People who is being paid by hyundai or VANK (S.Korean organization to damage Japan's and China's reputation)... although we don't mind about Asia, we should try to think about these guys.

  • Toyota and Lexus must dissapear !!! Shame on you fucking japanese crap !!!

  • If you don't think it's right for Toyota to endanger peoples Lives go to their Youtube channel and tell them......!

  • lol the driver could've used Neutral or better yet, SHUT OFF THE ENGINE.

  • @dave1sfx And you think they didn't try that?

  • @Saartje05

    they didn't

  • Toyota just paid out 10 million for this accident in San Diego, and this is the first of a long string of trials. Toyota is pissed that the amount of the settlement was released, because this creates precidence for all the future cases. Toyota also was fined by the US dept of transportation for recalling toyota cars in japan for loss of steering problems, but not recalling in the US. Toyota claimed the US cars were different. They lied. They dont give a shit about americans dying.

  • DUMB DRIVERS ARE DUMB.

I heard from someone that most americans do not know about neutral won't make you able to brake.

    STUPIDS.

I do not wonder, it's only Americans having problem.

  • @USFullOfLies

Look like you have no clue how electronic controled transmissions work.

    STUPID

  • Maybe thats why their logo is called 'Moving Forward... AND NEVER STOPPING!"

  • Toyota.. the last car you will ever own..

  • @Seirei0417 toyota has the least problems compared to the rest of the motor vehicle companies. but the government doesnt call these vehicle presidents to appear in front of congress because of an accident. This was all government exploitation to help GM with sales. especially because the goverment owns GM. talk about biased.

  • @Seirei0417 right because they will last you forever

  • couldn't the driver just have stopped the engine, slam on the brakes, or at least shift into a lower gear? This is more of a driver education failure than a toyota failure

  • @pancakewafflebacon

not if everything is controlled by the computer, that you have no mechanical overrides

  • @taledarkside bullshit the brakes are still mechanical

  • @pancakewafflebacon

not talking about brakes. Talking about the electronic ignition and electronic transmission.

And brakes can fail from being overheated.

don't they teach you anything in engineering school?

  • @taledarkside you can still shut off the engine, and the brakes won't overheat enough for you to be able to stop and I'm not an engineer

  • @pancakewafflebacon

You can't shut the engine off, if the switch goes to the computer instead of directly into the ignition coil or module.

So when the brakes are at 90% of its operating temperature and now you have a sudden acceleration issue. Your going to tell me the brakes will not overheat. ROFL

  • @taledarkside aww forget it. I would still call it EXTREME driver error

  • @pancakewafflebacon

without any facts or an engineering degree to back it up. thats typical.

How about the floormats getting the pedal stuck? Or is that impossible too?

  • @taledarkside how about fixing your fucking floormats

  • @pancakewafflebacon

Toyota did with Zip Ties. ROFL They also cut the gas pedal shorter too.

  • @taledarkside lol I guess that works too

  • the answer to the problem is stop making Toyota

  • @hatchet125 : YES!

  • Obama's blackness proves he hates Toyata cars. Too bad GM's Escalades and Hummers lost business. I feel bad for the unfortunate non-rich GM customers that were indoctrinated by celebrities to buy GM cars. The floormats.... wow I remembered that occurred driving my solara. I could have put it on neutral but decided to bring the pedal back up with my own right foot. I should have just panicked and call 911 on my cell phone. Could've been famous.

  • @scotplaya .....you shoulda let the solara take you to the promise land tool. For those of us who never bought obama's bs and who do fact based research combined with real world experience on vehicles because we are auto enthusiasts - couldn't understand the mind of a tool that pays huge coin for an fugly, crappy handling and driving cheapo 2 door camry convertible with a different name on it - nevermind the recall issue.. but that's just me...

  • TOYOTA-----I dont care if they recall the whole damn fleet, i would go get a mule and wagon before i bought one of those piece of shit GM products, or ford or chrysler, and obama can take that piece of shit volt and shove it up his virginia slims smoking ass

  • MOVE OVER TOYOTA, FERRARI IS SETTING THE NEW STANDARD FOR CAR RECALLS!

  • @Miike92

And It's not first recall for Ferrari

  • @2jzgtejza80 what other problems ferrari get recalled for?

  • @Miike92

You have posts with 54 Ferrari recalls

  • @2jzgtejza80 what was wrong with the ferraris

  • @Miike92 Look at your channel comments, I post them all, there's many problems.

  • @2jzgtejza80 wow, ferrari have the most problems out of any company or what?

  • @Miike92

It's not only Ferrari, there's many companies that have recalls.

  • @Miike92 and only a moron would mention this. What is the purpose of this? to absolve or deflect toyota's malfeasance?! Ferrari is an exotic, hand made, ultra low production maker of sports cars for the affluent. How is this comparable to toyota? Did Ferrari hide evidence and throw law suits? Did ferrari manipulate the regulatory system by hiring ex- NHTSA employees to negotiate favourable recall outcomes while more died - even after being approached by State Farm ins. in 04 and 07?

  • @guinmaan Ill tell you what ferrari did do. Make a defective 458 italia.

  • @Miike92 go to ferrari video.

  • @guinmaan ok... thats really general

  • why is toyota allowed to make cars anymore if people do their research in the years of 2009 and 2010 atleast 9 million recalls were made by toyota and for a few weeks some cars were suspended from being sold. when they had the excellerator problem 37 people were killed

  • My Toyota Camry (2002) surged a couple weeks ago. I wrote a song about Toyota's shameful response. Please pass it on. I am NOT charging for it. I simply have a point to make. Thank you.

  • all that time they used to call 911, could of just put it to nutrual

  • here is a FACT for you to ponder,,,,

in 2008 Toyota sold around 9.5 million vehicles world wide and had a profit of around 18 billion

in 2008 GM sold around 9.4 million vehicles world wide and LOST 38 BILLION, if it wasent for my fucking tax dollars, and fucking idiots like Odumma, there would be no american car companies, because they cant compete w/out the socialist u.s government

  • @SAMODANO1 Exactly how does this refute anything I've said, or better yet make Toyota a responsible maker of quality vehicles?

Millions of people voted for Obama...he's a great president then?..the best?

Millions of people eat mcdonald's burgers? ... best burger you can get?

Media told us that camrys were the family car to have and it was the top seller? Best mid sized family car then? ...not likely considering it drives like shit, is cheaply made and folds like and accordian in rear crash

  • @SAMODANO1 fact- Toyota took a 3 billion bail out in 09 in Japan(highly doubt your profit statement)- So Japanese socialist car company good - US socialist car company bad?

fact- All toyota assembly plants around the globe are UNION including indiana ,except for other U.S. plants

Japanese car maker union good- american one bad?

Your a moron focusing on semantics. The trade imbalance with Japan is brutal and supporting toyota considering the junk they actually make is moronic.

  • @SAMODANO1

Last time I checked, Ford never took a hand out. GM did and Toyota did. That makes you a fucking hypocrite who shoots his mouth off without doing his homework.

By your own hypocrisy you should be buying fords

  • @SAMODANO1

You should be a lot more worried about bank bail outs then GM.

Funny thing is that your beloved Toyota will be up the shitter in 10 yrs. Stand alone car company with no R&D that can't make a good car for shit, can't win an F1 race with the biggest budget in history...quitting left their only legacy the highest DNF ratio in F1 history- they couldn't engineer jack shit! Riding on a bought and paid for myth that is all but crumbled, the writing is on the wall...but I digress from..

  • @guinmaan ...my original point and prediction of the demise of Toyota at least in North America will be actually related to your big GM bitch of the bailout. Fact is that Obama did it to support his union supporters more than anything else - they would have lost their pensions which would have been unfair to some, and tough darts to others. The point is that the chinese would have got GM and it wouldn't have changed things much. When the chinese saw that the U.S. gov't was going to help GM..

  • @guinmaan ...& chrysler, they went to plan B which was to purchase Volvo from Ford. China's looking to be a BIG player in the industry. This is BAD news for Honda and Toyota who's low end lunch is being eaten by the Koreans and even Ford with their mid to higher end stuff being nibbled on more and more as we speak. What's gonna happen when superior safely build cheap chinese volvos hit the market while Toyota's serving up new sheet metal on 15yr old platforms as usual? Toyota won't ....

  • @guinmaan ....survive as we know it in North america because they really don't have any brand loyality of substance (all bs reliability like and appliance myth), that is to say their vehicles have no enthusiast following because they are bland in every way. The loyalty they paid for will disappear so fast it will make your head spin. Ford will prosper because they build cars that have soul, and appeal to enthusiasts as performance bargains. Toyotabots will move to better chinese volvo....

  • @guinmaan ...like appliances that will be cheaper and safer. Toyota better get their game on.

  • @SAMODANO1 yo jack shit i hope w/e toyota u buy goes up in flames the gov has nothing to do with gm chrysler dailmler or ford there is absolutly no bills to be paid they are free odf there gov hold get off gm's dick and try to solve toyotas problems u what forget it u can't fix the problem niether can they infierior car company

  • @guinn-ok ur not going to change my mind, and im not going to change yours, you drive your fords, and im gonna keep my toyotas,,

im 42 years old, i have had chevys, fords, and jeeps, and i have had numerous problems with all of these, especially the fords and jeeps, we had a ford taurus that the ford place had it in the shop more than we had it, all im saying is in 2003 we made a move to an all toyota family, and it was the best move we have EVER MADE, EVER!!!

  • @SAMODANO1 Wow 2003 big fucking deal! And if you live in the rust belt you wouldn't even LOOK at a toyota!

Your talking straight from your ass! You have no clue about the current auto manufacturing land scape. The days of the late 80's 90's secret recalls are over as per gov't intervention in N.A. as well as Japan (where plenty of automotive authorities are on and have been after Toyota for decades!) The days of Japan pumping millions of swag into the auto media are over!

  • @SAMODANO1 great, glad your happy. In my experience going back to the 80's, 90's, 00', til today I've known MORE people the had problems with Toyotas (number one by far) and Honda's then any other cars, no BS. Fact is that the US car consumer has been propagandized by the Japanese car industry who's spent millions shaping the sheeples minds...again no BS and there's books and articles about this abound. The doms were complacent as every company's made bad cars but what matters is perception

  • CONT- it was a 4-runner, since we have got rid of all american junk and went to all TOYOTAS,

    1-4-RUNNER

    2-FJU CRUISER 4X4

    3-TUNDRA 4X4

and none of them have had a single problem, like i said, i dont care if they recall the whole damn fleet, i will never go back to american made junk, so you drive what you want, and i will drive what i want, and based on my experience, the TOYOTA is a far superior product, TOYOTA IS THE NUMBER ONE SELLING AND MOST RELIABLE VEHICLE MADE-PERIOD

  • @SAMODANO1 All fucking junk. Drove brand new 4 runner last week. flexy noodley junk, just like the ones I drove off 10 yrs ago - nothings changed! Check your FJ out for crumple zone cracks its become quite an epidemic...more toyota quality. Turdra....00 to 05 full on rusty frame recall you might want to look at that. New turdra, well what's to worry about...buy with confidence! Pretty impressive you have two 2 yr. old vehicles reliable..wow! Face it YOU HAVE NO FUCKING EXPERIENCE!

  • @SAMODANO1 What model yrs?!! Gee ever held on to a vehicle for a really long time? You must be blind and fucking senseless. I see thin gauge recycled chinese steel that disappears quicker in the rust belts than a baked ham in opra's fridge. I see cheap components everywhere like frames, control arms, hub carriers, leaf springs. Not important though.... I see smaller cheaper rads, oil pumps, water pumps, tie rods, etc. Toyota's are minimally engineered. What the fuck are u looking at?

  • @guinnman

did you wear out a keyboard today, look i dont care what you say or read in the LA TIMES BULLSHIT PAPER, heres what has happened to me,

FOR YEARS I HAVE DRIVEN 113 MILES ONE WAY TO ATLANTA TO WORK, i live in the mountains and refuse to live in the crime ridden, pathetic city of atlanta, FOR YEARS I DROVE CHEVYS, JEEPS AND SOME FORDS, BEFORE I GOT A CO. TRUCK, and I had PROBLEM AFTER PROBLEM with the american made vehicles, then in 2003, we bought our first TOYOTA, --continued

  • @SAMODANO1 Hey fuckface. I've got a 15 yr. old ford truck. Never a problem. on speed sensor and regular maintenance. In fact, my family has several Ford pickups one 22 yrs. old, one 40 yrs. old that would still be running if a friend hadn't wrote it off, a 13 yr. old one. kid brother thrashed the rear end in the 89 by abusing the old girl but all just regular maintenance and one clutch. BIG FUCKING DEAL. TOO BAD YOUR 4 RUNNER IS A DEATH TRAP IN A ROLL OVER AS IS YOUR FJ AND TURDRA...

  • @guinmaan AND IF TOYOTA'S SO FUCKING GREAT, WHY DON'T THEY SUBMIT THEIR TRUCKS FOR 2010 IIHS ROOF CRASH STANDARD TESTING!? Because their substandard engineered junk and they were afraid to submit them. Ever owned toyota vintage trucks of the age of the Fords I've listed. Pretty reliable heheh....blowing head gaskets, steering shaft failure, defective tie rods, rusty frames, rusty disappearing bodys, brake failure, and of course their were kept secret by the media. start googling.

  • @SAMODANO1 Please cite how the La times facts were bullshit? gee I didn't see a lawsuit. We know how good toyota is with their lawyers. Are you saying that Toyota didn't hire ex NHTSA employees to gain favourable recall outcomes with the NHTSA? Are you claiming that Toyota didn't withhold evidence in court cases to protect their rep.? Are you claiming that State farm insurance didn't warn the NHTSA about UIA in 04 and again in 07 after raising premiums for toyota owners. Your an ostrich?

  • @guinmaan, you must me an obama supporter, you folks on the left are amazing to me, you actually think that chevy and ford are as dependable as toyota? with all the FACTS for you to see and you still think that is true? cmon dude, get real, everyone wishes that was true, but i have owned those detroit junkers, and there is NO COMPARISON, now i know uncle bob and aunt joyce had a old chevy they drove forever but when you look at vehicle history over millions of cars sold TOYOTA IS #1, wake up

  • This only happen in shit US...while i was in TOKYO i visit every dealer ship and there is no problem.....My self i have Lexus IS F in Kuwait and no problem at all..

Only Only Only in US this happen,,,

  • @dubai9view

it happened in europe you stupid sand nigger

  • @taledarkside You fucking Bullshit this is America...

  • @dubai9view

No, I"m in america. And there were POS Toyotas in Europe that had the same problem.

    Dumb ass Toyota owners

  • @taledarkside Ok....you Dog Shit say that!!!! So now i m saying that " I have from my eyes that Bugatti Veyron have accelerating Problem...and won't go more then 2 Miles" Could you believe???

  • Why don't we hear any of this outside the U.S

  • I know people are making a big deal about this recall, saying this is why to buy a domestic... Seriously? Are you forgeting about the bankruptcy basically all domestics went through about a year ago for listening to their customers? What about that Ford Pinto lawsuit series in the 70s (car exploded on rear end impact)? They never did a recall, bc it was cheaper to pay the lawsuits! Seen Roger and Me? GM puts a town on the streets so they could export the plant to Mexico, ya lets buy from them.

  • @Fitz207 Thanks for calling my use of the pinto lawsuit pathetic for being so old. I did some research and discovered that this poor design has never been fixed, lawsuits continue to this day. Ford admits in court they have no plans to fix the exploding gas tanks in their cop cars and pickup trucks. The last lawsuit was 2008. 14 cops have been burned alive from this so far. By the way GM also suffered the same problem, but settled for a recall and ate 495 mill in damages. Thanks fitz207!

  • wow that 1st crash u see the car did NOT have a floor mat i watched the full video investigation LIEs all lies but the toyata supra kicks ass

  • Toyota total shittttttttttttttttttt

  • Why couldn't the driver put the car in neutral and then shut it off? because he was an american who does not know how to do or fix anything..

  • @0YoungSavage xD thats nothing new That everybody knows how smart American people are x] You mension two ways out ,3rd just brake! ,brakes are stronger than the engine,4th one Jump out of the car if tha 3ways are difficult for You.Who will responce on that is bigger idiot that I mension it ,]

  • haha.. fucker should've bought a Benz with that money..

  • @NeoQuello I guess they cared about reliability more

  • what's the difference between "THE LIZZIE MAGUIRE MOVIE" and toyota actually making good safe cars? people have actually heard of or seen "THE LIZZIE MAGUIRE MOVIE" bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Every car gets recalls. It's not just Toyota. Ford, GM, Hyundai, Honda, Nissan and so on.....but the problem with Toyota is that the car itself caused over 100 Americans dead(according to LA times that I read one month ago or so). THAT is our concern.

BTW, Toyota's credibility rating dropped from 3rd to 360. Hard to climb up. Easy to climb down!

  • damn, you all still fighting over toyota, toyota is by far the most reliable car on the road period, that is a fact, so get over it, obama motors, and chrysler are not even close and anyone with more than 2 brain cells knows im right

  • never will i drive a toyota never ever

  • Columbo was aWESOME. I miss Dragnet, and San Franciso Beat. (with Lee Marvin, old b/w from the late 50's)

  • Chinese fuel pumps. good one. Now THEY make crap

  • @sparwood8 ya and Toyota's have the most chinese content on the fucking road today...but a dumb old hick from sparwood wouldn't have a fucking clue. Good job bringing facts to the table in the debate as usual. WHEN THE MESSAGE CAN'T BE DISCREDITED....DISCREDIT THE MESSENGER! ....LEFTY WACKO STYLE!

  • One hour? Where's your shop? I will drive there OOPS wait a minute. No pump, can't drive. towing charge.

  • @sparwood8

just call up shops in your area and find out how much they will charge you to replace the pump. Or find someone that works on cars and have them do it for you.

make sure they use a BOSCH or AC Delco fuel pump. otherwise some chinese fuel pump will leave you stranded.

  • most of all, and the bottom line is: I really don't care

  • Obviously, GM is doing what the public likes with all four brands posting an overall 43% increase, with Lacross increasing 236%, Chevy Equinox sales doubling, zooming Camaro sales, etc. Can't wait until the new Cruze and Volt makes their debut.

  • Kudos to GM though; they announced that they have paid back all the loot loaned to them in 08

  • @sparwood8 GM. lied! They used T.A.R.P. (troubled asset relief program)money, which is Federal Funds (our tax money) to pay back 8.1 billion. They borrowed 52 billion from the Federal Government to begin with and haven't turned a profit in years! The Federal Trade Commision is checking into these false clams by General Motors!

  • @lander4545 Know what? I hope you are wrong. However, nothing surprises me any more. OBTW would you lend money to a business that hasn't turned a profit in decades? NOR turned out a decent product in just as long?

    Didn't think so

IN Canada we are taxed to death, but I like our guy better than B.O.

  • OH JUST DONT BUY JAP CAR ~_~

  • @wcharm1987

OH MAYBE LEARN TO DRIVE ~_~

  • that ruined my day

  • wow, you folks really believe that GM FORD AND CHRYSLER are as good as TOYOTA? really, ,,,,,,,,really? how did we get to a point in this country to where we have this many stupid people walking around,,,oh i forgot,,,GOV. EDUCATION

  • @danosamo1424

Toyota is a pos car. I guess you never driven a real car that was built in Europe. The place that invented racing.

  • @taledarkside

Too bad Toyota didn't have drivers like these at the 2009 Malaysian Grand Prix! HAHAHAHHAHAH.....

    ahhhhh...

3rd place is ok i guess... they beat Renault afterall.

  • ssss

  • The big three never had any defects?? Anyhow, I am really not interested in debates on-line. Nice talkin' with ya

  • @sparwood8

They do, but Toyota is the one thats killing people right now. Maybe I should be like a toyota sheep, and pretend all cars are perfect that I like.

  • @taledarkside Or you could make like a dumb ass and be quiet

  • @sparwood8

so sorry, i stumped you. But thats typical of the uneducated toyota owners. No engineering education, so they just read consumers report.

  • @sparwood8

Taledarkside has a point. Toyota didn't do too well in 2009 Formula 1.

Neither did Kyle Busch...but they had better luck there.

  • @Rac665 No doubt. I never picked my cars on how they did in the races though. Just me being silly. I will take a Camry 4 cyl over a Malibu, or V-6 over an Impala, and ANY Toyota over any Chrysler product. I have owned all of them (Yeah, I am old)

  • @sparwood8

your probably only 16 since you don't know shit. Malibu and impala are 100% better then toyota, and worth over 50,000 dollars. great old school cars.

  • @taledarkside You need to learn how to read a profile. I was born before your grandaddy. 1945. Now do the math and shut your mouth. I have owned 2 Malibus and 3 Impalas. the 77 Caprice Classic was the only good one of the lot. Delta 88 was a piece of crap, but hey... wha-do I know, I am stupid and know nothing about cars.

  • @sparwood8

Which is normal. Since you always got people like you that are .... "uh car don't start, its the spark plugs"

    what, no 1945 toyota. ROFL

  • @taledarkside Your malibu/Impala has to have the GAS TANK removed to replace the fuel pump. In a Honda or a Toy', you just open the trunk, pop open the access port, and 20 mins later; you're done. OK, for you we make that an hour. Great engineering by GM. $900 is what buddy spent to replace the f/pp on an Impala.

    Nice, hey kid?

  • @sparwood8

99% of all cars need to have the fuel tank removed to replace the fuel pump. Oh i forgot, you never worked on cars. And not all hondas and toyotas have that access port. Not all chryslers have that access port.

maybe your buddy is dumb. Since a fuel pump only costs 300dollars for an OEM and takes less than 1 hour to replace. Shop labor cost about 90 dollars. So your buddy got ripped off by 500 dollars.

  • @taledarkside OK. You win. You like to argue. Tell me, is this really worth the time it takes to hit the enter button?

  • @sparwood8

I have to do something during the commercials when I'm watching Law & Order

  • @taledarkside LOL. Only good program left. CSI puts me to sleep. except for Emily Proctor

  • @sparwood8

I have a thing for cop shows. I miss NYPD blue. I still need to see the classics, like hillstreet blues etc.. hawaii 5-0 is really good.

perrymason, matlock, columbo are good shows.

  • @sparwood8

If you wanna talk about repair shops ripping people off, thats another topic all together. And your buddy did get ripped off, if it was just a simple fuel pump replacement.

repair shop having a lift. 2-4 bolts to remove gas tank, remove filler hose, remove harness, and remove fuel lines. remove fuel pump. reinstall everything. takes an hour tops.

I know people that say "oh i like this shop" and don't care if they get ripped off.

  • @taledarkside I took me 15 minutes to replace a fuel pump on a 64 pontiac

  • @sparwood8 but in a toyota 4 runner you have to remove the gas tank to replace the rear abs sensors...you were saying.

  • @guinmaan How should I remember what I was saying??? I posted that probably 3 months ago. I really don't care. I get to this stie and see a bunch of childen arguing and bickering. Sorry, I have other things to do.

  • @sparwood8 OK old man. Just try to be open minded and do some fact based research.

  • @guinmaan Now you are lecturing me again. and the cheap shot 'Old man" makes me laugh. Can you swim 2 miles? do 45 pushups? Bet U can't.. but yeah, I am old

  • @sparwood8 I thought you had other things to do?

  • FORD stands for

    Found On Road Dead.

  • toyota fined $16.4million and recalled about 8 million vehicles.

  • This is blown way out of proportion.... think about it. There are many recalls on domestic vehicles too. The spot lite is on Toyota for a good reason.

  • Why are people blaiming japanese..? It's toyota's fault! Not japans..

Ps: I defend japan, not Toyota. Although I like Lexus... but only Lexus.

  • I dont believe any of this. No way would toyota allow something like this to happen. To all you loudmouths out there, TOYOTA DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS BEFORE HAND! Stop with all of your lies!

  • The Japs are getting us back for Hiroshima

  • The Japs are getting us back for Hiroshima

  • Tearfully

    Observed

    Your

    Obituary

    Terminal

    Acceleration

  • I have to laugh at how the media goes after the competition to GM and Obama motors.

HEY, did anyone notice that GM have a recall? It was on about page 65 of the Vancouver Sun, unlike the Toyota recall, which the media is making into another Edsel thingy

  • Toyota has been paying off the auto media, and various levels of gov't for DECADES!

THE REASON THE MEDIA DROPPED THE GM COBALT POWER STEERING RECALL WAS BECAUSE IT'S REALLY A TOYOTA RECALL! THE PART IS OUTSOURCED AND IS MADE BY TOYOTA! TOYODA MOTOR WORKS/ KOYO SEIKO!

    Keep talking from your ass.

  • @sparwood8

yup, the media is going after a company that just killed more than 10 people. I guess the media never investigated firestone tires years ago when it killed people.

they shouldn't allow stupid people on the internet

  • @taledarkside You have no sense of proportion. How many people died in car accidents in March? Just in the US. How many died because of fualtiness in say for eg; GM? If I ever get into a poker game for money; I hope you are there too.

  • @sparwood8

So now your stating that an accident is the same thing as a manufacturing defect.

  • GM steering RECALL is really a TOYOTA PART! Talk about a conspiracy! Where is the media?!! Part defective is made by TOYODA MOTOR WORKS/ KOYO SEIKO!

As soon as this came out the media dropped the GM cobalt steering recall like a hot potato! There is no GM obama/media conspiracy against Toyota! In fact Toyota has spend millions propagandizing the U.S. consumers for decades...lying about defects, secretly fixing cars and buying off media, politicians and victims for decades.

  • What a bunch of bullshit. Toyota get real with the program tell the consumer the truth. You perfectly developed a piece of shit vehicle. The problem is is simple your throttle body that has no emergency cutt-off like GM which cutts power to avoid throttle from getting stuck, so much for making GM vehicles will always outlast your engines so much for being in a bind. GM develop the Chevy 350 will outlast punishment any day.

  • couldnt they have just turned the car off or shift into neutral? people really need to have some common sense

  • google Matsuda, ex auto engineer and founder of Japanese auto consumer union. He's been after Toyota for decades. To paraphrase he claims that everything toyota does in in secrecy, and that Toyota has secretly fixed defects unbeknownst to their customers for decades! He says Toyota has repeatedly, knowingly allowed it's customers to drive defective vehicles! Last time I checked he's Japanese!

  • @guinmaan "Secretly fixed defects" - THATS GREAT FORD LETS THEM GO UNFIXED FOR DECADES AND GM USES CUTOMERS AS R&D - SO YOUR POINT IS?

  • hey carquestions WHY DON'T YOU TAKE TOYODA'S COCK OUT OF YOUR MOUTH.

  • @carquestions Toyota has repeatedly and knowingly let their customer drive defective vehicles for years. So not announcing recalls, offering a free oil change, and then replacing the tie rods unbeknownst to the owner is above board?! Your a fucking TURD to defend Toyota. Your talking straight from your ass. 10 yrs. of time bomb head gaskets, secret steering defects across entire line etc. etc. etc. is good engineering? BS on Ford let them go unfixed for decades - cite ONE example!

  • If you fix cars you must know FIRST HAND what cheap POS's toyotas are. What engineering prowess they have. Gee they broke the record for highest DNF ration in Formula one with the largest budget in history! Toyota MUST be VERY competent! I especially love the 6 figure lexus w. trunk hinges like grandpa's 69 galaxy. In case you've been under a rock, many toyota employees expressed concern 6 yrs ago about toyota's plummeting quality. Ex engineers claim their goal is to do it cheaper.

  • Toyota has the largest fleet of lawyers/lobbyists of car makers in the USA! Toyota has made campaign donations in the millions to 40% of ALL U.S. Congressmen over the last 10 yrs! Toyota is the only company to hire EX NHTSA employees and send them to high profile crash invest. to negotiate with the NHTSA on Toyota's behalf! Looks like a much bigger conflict of interest than Obama/GM to me! Toyota EDR secrecy is criminal! Toyota has given millions to consumer union who PUB. CONSUMER REPORTS

  • @guinmaan Another Hillbilly who doesn't know a damn thing about US auot history - Ford was called a criminal by a Judge in open court - Ford has lied to congress - get over it you hypocrite

  • Your just a kool aid swilling MORON who is REACHING for excuses! Fact is your beloved Toyota's ARE CRAP AND ALWAYS HAVE BEEN! AT LEAST FORD DOESN'T LIE, WITH HOLD CRASH DATA FROM EDR BOXES, OR LIE ABOUT WHAT DATA IS OBSERVABLE, SECRETLY FIX CUSTOMERS DEFECTIVE CARS THEN PAY OFF CONSUMER REPORTS AND THE MEDIA TO LIE TO US ABOUT HOW STERLING THEIR CARS ARE! YOU GET OVER IT YOU WASTE OF SKIN! ARE YOU STUPID? CAN'T YOU READ? EVEN JAPANESE AUTO CRITICS ARE AFTER TOYOTA! SOME CONSPIRACY!

  • @carquestions go to carcoverup(dot)com. Here an interesting taped conversation(s) between a Lexus i250 owner and a lexus tech who also owned one that accelerated on it's own TEN TIMES. See the admitting of a problem, then the lying and back peddling - ALL CAPTURED ON TAPE! THE TECH ADMITS THEY'VE SEEN MANY 250'S WITH THIS PROBLEM! MAYBE YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO HEAR THIS THOUGH AS TOYODA'S COCK IS LIKELY IN YOUR EAR IF NOT IN YOUR MOUTH. FUCKING IDIOT!

  • ive been to sydney, and on a safari in the out-back, and there are ford and chevy dealerships everywhere in austrailia, but when you get into the back country, probably 80% of the vehicles you see are TOYOTA,,,FACT IVE BEEN THERE AND SEEN IT MYSELF,

  • Are you really this much of an idiot! Australia is ONE country that has in fact U.S. domestic competition! What I said in the other 100 plus countries where U.S. origin vehicles ARE NOT EVEN AVAILABLE! SO I'LL ASK AGAIN.....HOW IS NO CHOICE BUT A TOYOTA A SEAL OF APPROVAL OF TOYOTA'S QUALITY AND REPUTATION! PULL YOUR HEAD FROM YOUR ASS!

  • what you are seeing is a socialist president who basically runs most of the media in this nation lending a helping hand to the USELESS UNIONS by trying to destroy toyota,,,,,,,,WONT WORK, TOYOTA IS IN ANOTHER TIME-ZONE compared to american made junk, if you cant see whats going on here, you are simply a FOOL

  • @danosamo1424 Talking about Toyota's "superior quality",how come you don't EVER see any Toyota's at any classic car shows or in any parades?? That foreign garbage doesn't last to ever be considered a classic!

  • AMERICANS ARE JEALOUS, they are attempting to "save" their car industry. media controlled by government and this act done by the democrats is wrong!!

  • Oh please the media attacked the american car industry when they got a bailout. They focused on the American companies getting it, that 90% of people didnt even know about Toyota getting a bailout. It's not americas fault that Toyota did not act on the problem fast enought. Toyota put themselves in the mess they made, by not listening to their customers, and not fixing the probelm that has been going on the past 10 years with Toyota. Only a dumbass would stick up for this company.

  • Obviously it is moved by the American GovernMent/GM...

This is easy to see: If I buy a incompetente company and my target is 'emerging' this company (Obama's comment, January 2010)... what can I do to get market share not DESTROYING the national companies... Trying to destroy the foreign companies to steal their market share... hahaha... The people is ridiculous if they can't see that :)

  • toyota moving forward

even when you dont want to

  • the US government owns chevy. Thats why there busting down on this. Toyota is still a very good car, its just a recall

  • Toyota is being unfairly treated by the OBAMA run media in this nation, if you cant see this, you are simply a FOOL

  • Agree with you. And more information:

This is what happen when people trust AMERICAN GOVERNMENT, AMERICAN COMPANIES: See what happened with Goldman Sachs See what happened with Lehman Brothers See what happened with DETROIT, the city American companies laugh at people and especially DETROIT is the example of what's happening in the US and now, just because of their bad method of business are trying to destroy a good company with this 'movie' by GM/Government
