Pastries are the only food the Brits make right.

@Merlin5x5 Brits make the best breakfast in the world - espec the black pudding! Yum.
Also, best pies. What about roast beef (lamb, pork, chicken) & yorkshire pudding
Then there's the desserts - puddings (treacle sponge, spotted dick, backwell tart, etc), curd tart, strawberries & cream, gooseberry or apple crumble.
Never had a good meal in France - except for one in a little Gallet restaurant / cafe in Brittany.
