  • hahaha. clown, i'm not done with you and your shmoe friends.

  • @k4bjorem shmoe lol aint that from the 20s? i mean how old is that guy

  • get a life AX !

  • boy did he put on the pounds!

  • He looks oddly like Gorilla Monsoon here.

  • hav a false teeth match loser suks ............... maybe u should just manage and find a young demlision and ride thir coutails...

  • Ax was good, Masked Superstar was OK...but I say: bring back the Machine Men!

  • Wrestling legend for real..Masked Superstar was dope and Demolition were one of the best tag teams too, I always like them better than the road warriors.

  • notice he can't do the old ax voice anymore, probably too much for his voice after years of doing it. i loved demolition, but always liked ax a bit better though smash would always make the tag/save in the end.

  • He looks pretty darn good for his age, in my book.

  • What a rarity. Cool vid.

  • To the trailer trash WWE fans he will only be thought of as AX, but to the real wrestling world he will always be the legendary Masked Superstar!

  • I'm not ashamed to admit he'd kick my ass easily.

  • I always enjoyed listening to Bill Eadie aka Masked Superstar, he always sounded like he meant business. Great voice and as the Masked Superstar he was an imposing figure.

  • i see the resemblance- he could be scott halls younger brother

  • @pTfran13

younger???? he's 11 years older lol. doesn't look it though.

  • Masked Superstar?

  • This is the first time I've seen Ax without his makeup

  • wheres his face paint??

  • I hope they dress as the demolition when they go the hall of fame

  • Gee, now I know what Bill Eadie really looks like. When he wore a mask as The Masked Superstar, he could mingle with the public and not worry about being bothered all the time by fans. Not so with the other Mid-Atlantic stars (Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Wahoo McDaniel, etc.).

  • Damn, he clowned on Terry Taylor.

  • This man was my hero when I was a kid. I was Ax for halloween in 1989! Good god, I was twelve.... Hell, I'm getting old.

  • @danlc95 So were you like me and used to defend Demolition as a better team than the Road Warriors. I still say so to this day. The warriors had the more monstrous look, but Demolition had the better matches and even though they didn't work Japan like the Warriors did, probably drew more money being in WWF for as long as they did.

Not to mention you had the freaking Masked Superstar AND Repo Man on one team. Either one could've been a main guy, look what happened when Animal went solo.

  • @RowdyRodimus When Animal went solo, it was quite a while after his partner had died. Also, he was already getting aged, and those guys just don't last in the spotlight of say TNA or WWE for very long. He had a nice run with WWE for a while with Heidenreich, and that was ok, but yeah, all I am saying is give him a break. This era is way different that of before the mid 90's.

  • @aaronfowlowmusic I didn't mean for that to come off as a dig at Animal. What I meant is that he needs to be part of a team to really work (he had a solo run before Hawk died that fizzled out in WCW). There's only so much a guy can do with just being big and jacked up, he needed someone to work off of. Eadie and Darsow both were proven singles acts so they could work as either a team or solo.

Sorry if I was unclear with my original post.

  • @RowdyRodimus They were ok, not big stars, but they were decent for sure. I think with Animal though, every now and then he will get in the ring, more so to help propel someone else, a younger guy. Thats what he was doing with Heidenreich, who I thought was doing great, until WWE simply let go of him. Regardless, Animal is a legend. I wish we could have Hawk back, and see them both in action again, together. Anyways, not to get off track about the video.

  • @Lostdog171 dude I'm just fooling around I love Ax and also Smash for that matter...they were one of the most bad-ass teams of all times the other dude on this comments page is right if Demolition hit the WWE today on Raw or someplace the whole crowd would go freaking bananas including me...I just like goofing on old people cos I'm gonna be old myself...Ax rocks if Ax is reading this I apologize LOL...

  • he sounded a little southern in this one...idk I think his voice sounded better before...and he should go back to painting his face again...he'd be scarier...oh, and his finger is crooked he looks like he could pick his nose from behind his head..

  • @Lostdog171 LOL cool but you still didn't say whether you were hott or not...just based on who you type offhand I'd say you're a guy so I'll have to politely decline your offer...I'm not into that...not even if it's a good-looking guy...if you're a cute chick you can go ahead and send me a pic but STILL...I think you'd be a little unsavory if you're offering to fuck dudes on youtube and you've not even seen their picture...

  • Why is Rip Torn wearing wrestling gear???

  • he sounds like Ronald Reagan

  • My grandfather actually said to me at the dinner table during Thanksgiving last year.

  • I get so depressed looking at these old dudes I remember when they were on top of the WWE...Demolition were bad-ass now this dude looks like a fat old fart who craps his pants and has prostate cancer and is gumming his food...Lord help me to age gracefully..

  • @XxowendanxX Fuck you! You're a disrespectful prick!

  • @NicoleSchraufnagel LOLOLOL!!!! is that an offer??? what do you look like?

  • @XxowendanxX

You wish you look like that at 63...

  • @MKShaggy1985 if I did I'd get some pecs and an order of Rogaine...I have a good gimmick for this guy...a finishing maneuver when he has an opponent in a compromising position, he pulls out his prostate and hits them over the head with it for the three-count...

  • @XxowendanxX AX Has never looked better you metrosexual pervert.

  • If Demolition's music suddenly hit at a live Raw event ALL OF YOU would mark out like no tomorrow and u know it.

  • @getodachoppa1 I think the reaction would come simply because we would have an actual fucking tag team in WWE. Have you seen the crap they've put out now? And sadly the kids would have no idea who the hell they are. They would look over to their parents and ask "Why are you screaming so loud? He looks like a bad man." I swear Vince just has the company in cruise control. No thought, no effort, just money. Another problem, you said RAW. Why? Because nothing interesting happens on Smackdown.

  • Masked Superstar!

  • I love these old wrestlers, but nobody wants to see these old men perform anymore..

  • @carter2 i dont want to see any old men perform you pervert

  • This guy still kicks ass, all you people bashing on his age....your not getting any younger yourself.

Just ask yourself will you still be kicking ass at that age....Answer: probably not...so STFU!

  • @agenthelios people are just fooling around, I loved and still love Demolition, they were one of the most bad-ass teams of all time...

  • hahaha. ax was awesome and thd hes right... the red rooster was so gay hahaha

  • i love my uncle bill...sure miss seeing him

  • @Valorofficer shut the fuck up

  • The red rooster reincarnated lol

    Demolition rules!

  • i actua;;y got in the ring with this guy back in 1998 with acw , great guy , really nice!

  • thats some serious shit right thier

  • He were the Giants kryptonite, shame to see him doin it still at his old age.

Long live the late 80's and early 90's wrestling era!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how much do you think he makes working for this small time fly by night fed? the problem with the wrestling industry is that you might be in one day and out the next. so you really ought to be smart with your money while you're making it.

  • @maziku Very well spoken!! This is sad to watch makes you wonder what he did with his money.

  • I respect Ax, but I wish he could retire and not have to go out here and still wrestle.

  • I don't feel bad at all for these old wrestlers that are still wrestling because they blew all their money living the life for all those years, it's their own fault for wasting all their money instead of saving it.

  • The wrestlers of yesterday gave way better interviews than what today's wrestlers can ever imagine.

  • I agree! In my opinion, today's wrestler interviews are (more) like "stand-up."

  • @pr1978 TBH anyone could cut the promo Ax did here. The main problem with wrestling is remembering lines. If you give someone 5 bullet points it's much easier to hit them, than 5 sentences.

  • Let's not also forget that he wasn't exactly cutting a promo with Mene Gene here, he's doing it for some rinky dink wrestling outfit while sitting in a cafeteria...how much effort would you put into it?

  • This promo sucked, but Bill also has not done a lot of promo work in the past two decades. He was probably tired and was thinking "Shit, I don't want to do one of these promos. I am ready to to catch my plane back home." Cut him a bit of slack.

  • I was half expecting 60 year old Ax to go nuts and call someone a "geek" and say "tell em Smash"

    The guy's a legend

  • Here's a guy in his 60's who, sure, needs the money but he's still going out and entertaining fans. True wrestling fans love him now as much as ever because he's working in the ring.

  • I remember when Ax used to have a lot of intensity in his promos.

  • I'll never get tired of seeing the old-time legends. Way to go, Ax.

  • well, for all you guys talking trash, just remember that he was OLD back when he was Ax! He had to be 45 back then. He looked like a middle aged guy that used to lift weights- back in 1988. So yeah, he's gotta be in his 60's now. He has no mic skills. that was painful to watch.

  • always love ax is he on bad terms with wwe if he is then can smash talk with vince out for the hall of fame

  • wheres this guy been all these years when his partner was going though a million gimmicks??

  • This guy is a classic heel. I remember Eddie Gilbert's first match returning after a "broken neck". the Masked Superstar , who was much bigger than Gilbert, gave him about 5 neckbreakers in a row. Destroyed him and his neck all over again. It was hystrerical at the time, good job MS, and RIP Eddie.

  • I'm surprised at all the negative comments. This is I.M.H.O. the truest Wrestler to the fans. He was always my favorite as Ax/Axis. I didn't know he was the Masked Superstar. Way cool. Viva Ax!!!!!!! He helps a lot of kids too. I give him Mucho Kudos for still getting in the ring.

  • This is sad to see...a once great wrestler giving a tired, lifeless promo. He's out of shape, stumbles over his words, and looks like he's given up on his image entirely.

For anyone who remembers how magnificent Demolition were in their prime, this is difficult to watch :(

  • That's what I was thinking. He once eliminated Andre the Giant from the Royal Rumble.

  • My all time favorite Tag Team. Why they are not in the WWE Hall of Fame and Koko B Ware and Pete Rose are is beyond me.

  • He looked better wit da makeup on.

  • Poor mother fucker. He got fucked by the wwf creative team in 1991. Trust me i was a employe of titan sports at the time. Heres what happend. Hogan was running out of competition. The wwf brought crush in to replace ax. Ax was gonna get rebilled as a guy named Brick "stoneman" Clay for a singles run at hogans title complete with a whole new look and waredrobe. But The idea was thrown in the trash after 3-4 days of rethinking.

  • Seems like it would have made more sense to put him back under the Masked Superstar hood, if any serious thought was going to go into a Bill Eadie vs Hogan feud.

  • Yeah so was I. I was about 12 at the time (rolls eyes). THANK GOD we were at war with Iraq in 1991, because that Sgt.Slaughter Iraqi sympathizer gimmick easily could have tanked (rolls eyes again). The real reason Eadie left WWE was because of his health. He had an allergic reaction to shellfish and Crush was brought in to replace him. Since then, legal disputes followed Eadie's departure, which is why we're watching him here instead of at the Hall of Fame events or the video games.

  • Wasn't Crush brought in after Wrestlemania 6 in 1990 when Ultimate Warrior was WWF Champion? The last WWF ppv where Demolition appeared was the 1990 Survivor Series. By the time, Ax (Bill Eadie) was just a part-time wrestler.

  • Holy shit he didn't age as well as most wrestlers...

  • Wow, he's freakin old, lol

  • think i saw him drinking coffee at oldy mc olds the other day

  • At least he is still alive- unlike most of his peers from the 80s WWF

  • Awesome. Strong words from The Axe. Hail Demolition.

  • I loved when he said that Doink was going to be Red Rooster incarnated...that was funny. Sad thing is wrestling is so bad now, Red Rooster could probably beat up half of the guys in WWE right now.

I know Axe/Masked Superstar is cool. Wasn't he in a tag team with King Kong Bundy in the late70's/early 80's?

  • Red Rooster (Terry Taylor) was actually a good wrestler. It was not the man that sucked, it was his gimmick

  • Funny thing he was on the short list for the 'Mr. Perfect' persona that eventually went to Henning. I guess Henning would have been the Rooster. Hard to imagine. But at least Rooster didnt OD on coke

  • Yeah - But he OD'd Perfectly!

  • AWESOE to see Ax/Masked Superstar..One of the all-time greats.

  • Give Bill a break what do you guys think you`ll look like in your 60`s??? He`s still cool as hell.

  • haha im not black

  • No script promo, just thinking on his feet, I rather enjoyed it. It sure is better looking at a guy thinking about what he will say next then watching somebody remember it word for word like we see in the WWE now.

  • Damn age caught up with hime....Loved the Demo's. Met them in NYC at the gym on 48th ave. they were about to throw us out but the demo's let us take the pics. they were awesome. too bad tag team wrestling is not the way it was in the 70's and 80's.....

  • do u still have the pics?

  • I think the criticism of Ax is way out of order, yes all athletes have a prime and Ax's is behind him, but lets face it most wrestlers LOVE the business their in, and want to continue to enjoy wrestling, and from what ive seen hes still great entertainment. Sldo who are you to tell anyone how they should make their living, hes a wrestler and probably will be for as long as hes physically capable of doing it, good luck to the guy.

  • I Agree, Hell, By Seeing From This Promo, He Can Cut A Promo Better Than Half The Smucks In The Business Today. Image How Good He Could Wrestle. Maybe He Should Strech Them And Teach Them A Thing Or Too About Paying Your Dues.

  • You are is disrespectful prick. You probrably wont live to be 60 you fat piece of garbage!

  • To the people that criticize Ax why don`t they tell him what they think of him to his face? This man deserves to be in the wwe hall of fame along with his partner Smash. Long live Demolition!!!

  • Bill Eadie is and will always be one of the best wrestlers to ever enter the sqared circle.

He was especially great as The Masked Superstar.

  • What did you expect him to do? Be young forever?

  • thats exactly the point - once you've reached a certain age you should call it quits and try something else...unfortunately this may be all these guys have

    :(

  • Not all wrestlers Terry Funk was still kicking ass well into his 50s

  • I didn't know Ronald Reagan wrestled LOL!!!!!

  • Ax always was tough as nails....still today I would not fuck with this guy, prolly tougher than any newbie on the wwe roster

  • Yes, he is an absolute mountain of a man, and one of the biggest gentlemen I have ever met. Even now at nearly 60, his arms, each one, is a big around as my head. But he is a super super person to hang out with though.

  • I can't remember which. I think it was Smash who slammed the Bossman and Akeem at either SummerSlam or Survivor Series. The only other person to do that was Hogan.

  • It was Smash at SummerSlam '89

  • Thats awesome, a true legend....I enjoyed your tribute/demolition reunion vid btw =)

  • He is a class act.

  • good ol'Superstar

  • He looks like Jackie Gleason. LOL!!!!!!

  • I met AX 2 weeks ago at a PWE event in Dillsburg,PA.Also I know he wrestled as the Masked Superstar against Tony Atlas last weekend at a show in PA.

  • Wow! I grew up watching Demolition. They are by far the greatest tag team ever(in my opinion). Thanks for the memories Ax and Smash. You will never be forgotten.

  • Thanks Ax, for all the great memories. I hope to meet ya one day. I was Ax for halloween back in 8th grade (1990).

  • I've met him and have a picture with him...That is his real speaking voice...sounded weird hearing him talk normal when I'm so used to the raspy voice....He's a really nice guy in person

  • "Here comes the axe here comes the smasher the demolition walking disaster heat of destruction is our middle name"

  • Idiot!!! It goes "Pain and Destruction, is our middle names". You dummy!

  • What's the deal with Demolition not being in the Smackdown games. They had everyone else but the Machco Man and the warrior but I know their reasons for not being in the games but what about Demolition?

  • if i recall, ax isnt on great terms with mcmahon as we already know that the warrior and savage arent

  • Does he ever appear as the Masked Superstar? He was pretty big under that name in Georgia and the pre-Hogan WWF.

  • No he does not. he like others did not own the name after his last run in wwe as the superstar.

  • Yes, on occassion he still wrestles as the Masked Superstar

  • i thort he was dead!

  • he is a fucking legend in tag team wrestling - demolition still rules

  • He's not using his unique "raspy" voice here. This sounds more like his real tone.

  • I really loved Bill as Ax...he has always been one of my favorites...hell all three Demolition members are in my top 5...Long Live Demolition!

    1. Hall & Nash, 2. Sid & Spivey, 3. Demolition, 4. Vinnie Vegas & Dallas Page, 5. Nash & HBK

  • Don't you mean all 4? There were 2 Demolition Smash.

  • Do you mean all 7. There have been 7 members of Demolition:

Ax, Smash (Culley), Smash (Darsow), Crush, Blast, Slayer (Darsow) and Nitro

I only count Ax and Smash (Darsow) though myself. :)

  • I don't remember Blast, Slayer or Nitro. When was this?

  • good to see ax is not another statistic

  • kool were you able to get it set up?
