We have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 (1%) API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs/Injection and tank clean and rustfree!

I was the original owner of this corvette. I purchased it in San Jose California while in USAF ands brought it home to Fort Myers, FL. Want more infor and history? Contact me.
I have L88 69 camaro 612 cam with open chamber ZL-1 heads top end acceration is fast. my 69 has 12 bolt 411 truetrac posi. I will be posting up video soon ................mojo
Damn, an race prepped L88, and Note: it wasen't the baddest version, the baddest chevy engine was basicly the all-aluminum L88 called ZL1, it even had a sharper cam than the L88 + open chamber heads, and with a weight of about 250 kg if i'am not mistaken, weights the same as a small block engine, not bad for being an bigblock =)
Think If Chevy would be developed even more powerfull engine choices in the 60s, like a Hemi chevy BB, or a Ford SOHC copy on their 427 with OHCs and Hemi heads =)
at 1:01 ..that's the sound of my dad," jimmy irvine" when he rips a fart...{jackass}...also my neighbors., gerry smith and jack jenkins, used to lick the chrome clean on that vette...don't u like how i mentioned full names like every one else on this page{goobers-stooges-jackasses}...ahheuk yuk yuk yuk..!
charlie koninsky was a member of our corvette club in Miami, florida. guess he was tired of it and just passed it on. It was a nice car the last time I saw it at Blake Chevrolet show in Homestead Florida.
