@753michaeljacksonfan Completely agreed! Too many "horror" games give you guns, in my opinion. Severely diminishes the atmosphere of fear. I really wish there were more games like Amnesia that force you to hide from monstrosities instead of focusing on jump scares. (Looking at you, Doom 3)

I love how in every single walkthrough of this game, the player can't move for at least 4 minutes and totally freak after they grab the laudanum and see the first monster.

Kind of low = Croaches walking on your screen and daniel pants loud.

Low = Slugs on the ground.

Very Low = Hallucinations of monsters chasing you, however when they get close to you they just disappear. Plus momentarily daniel will begin crawling on the ground from weakness for a little bit. Going insane in this game won't kill you. But it will leave you vulnerable.
