I didnt say they werent better than most modern music. but that doesnt mean they are anywhere near as good as thier other "grunge" peers. If you were truly into music you would realize theres nothing about nirvana that wasnt done first or better by bands like alice in chains or soundgarden. the only reason nirvana got so famous was because they were good at writing catchy pop riffs wrapping them in depressing lyrics and spoon feeding them to angry teens. If you deny this then youre hopeless

Yes they were exploited as much as any talent is, but that doesn't reduce their talent - rather it emphasizes the fact. Music producers don't bother trying to exploit talentless musicians...
