Yet more sexually subliminal Wrigley's commercials. "Get the little lift"..."...the taste is gonna move ya..."...when you pop it in your mouth...".... Yeesh! There's even one Spearmint commercial--I can't find it on YouTube--where a young man can be seen shoving his hand into his girlfriend's crotch as she upsets a picnic basket. Dr. Wilson Bryan Key included stills from it in his 1989 book, The Age of Manipulation.

Me, too. It's crazy how quickly a person can recall something they haven't heard in 20 years! Is the mind an amazing thing?

Yeah it is. As far as commercials go, I think they are played so much that it gets etched into your brain. So when you hear it 20 years later, bam! Your brain knows it automatically! But when I was younger I paid closer attention to commercials. Now I easily, and effortlessly, tune them out so I doubt I'll remember 99% of the commercials from this decade.
