  • This an AWESOME version of Amazing Grace! GOOD JOB=}

  • wow you're amazing... I'm 12 and I play the trumpet. (Had a few lessons outside of school and my band teacher wants to move me up a grade!) you make an awesome inspiration, and also it's real cool that you are so positive about some of the negative comments you get! Later!

  • that was really well done!

  • excellent job you are great brass players

  • Better than Canadian Brass!!! =D

  • I like how it only counts MY views.

  • This is quite a nice rendition of a great arrangement! I enjoyed hearing you play.

  • I personally love this!!!!

  • hey hey hey! wtf is that trumpet ur using on the top right hand corner.? it has 4 valves and is smallerr! :O

  • @KSIJay its probably a piccolo trumpet

  • @KSIJay Its a piccolo trumpet

  • bueno manin ;)

  • im playing trumpet myself and i have to say:" THUMS UP for every tone."!!!

  • I love Canadian Brass's Canon. I don't know why, but that song just tears me up.

  • Very well done... As a trumpet player myself, I both enjoyed it and envied it.

  • I Love It - JAZZY!!! You Keep On Keepin On!!! Do What You Do So Well,

    I"M A BIG FAN ( -;

  • I think I'm in love with you haha it's really good ! :D

  • Baaahahahahaaaaaahahahaa, the fail of people getting angry with YOU jazzing it up. . . So dumb. Really dumb. For real.

PS, Can all of you play trumpet? And much less do it like this? Probs not, so stop hating.

This is sick, normally MORE than 1 people do this.

    Good job.

  • you are a fucking genius

  • Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiccccccccccccccccccccc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-P

  • My suggestion would be to add some reverb to the tracks, to help approximate how this would sound in real life. Your solo stuff sounds fine, but the background stuff sounds like it could be from an old synthesizer.

But note, this doesn't mean you don't play well.

  • nice mimic but yur tone is terrible

  • @awesomefrank1 Nah. It's not the best, but it's not too bad. He just needs to work on it.

And this does sound like Amazing Grace, all you haters. You just aren't used to this style of music.

  • Loved it ! great job ! :)

  • Great work mate - really well done.

  • I love it!!!

  • Holy shit, I didn't know Harry Potter played trumpet!

    :-P

  • Gorgeous!

  • Thanks for the comment, this is the Canadian Brass arrangement of Amazing Grace. I guess it's not for everyone.

  • @gtlvr82 that's why it says Canadian Brass arrangement if you don't like it then don't watch it lol

  • @gtlvr82 its not his doing, its the canadian brass's, they jazz things up, its just their thing

  • As someone who also plays the trumpet I wanted to tell you I enjoyed this very much.

  • Thanks for watching anyways!

Check out some of my other videos and maybe you will find something you like....no promises though :-P

*I did the Canadian Brass version of When I am 64 also

  • That was a very respectful response. Your a very mature 19.

  • not a fan or jealous...... aaaa oooo

  • how do you like the schilke piccolo?

  • is the the trumpet on the lower right the one playing the low part? what kind of trumpet is that?

  • Very very nice.... Quite amazing actually... I really enjoyed that original version by Canadian Brass too.

Your range seems excellent, considering I can't even hear the faintest signs of struggling with the higher notes. Great tone quality too.

  • Haha, well this isn't my arrangement

You're gonna have to take it up with The Canadian Brass :-P

  • From one trumpet player to another, you are amazing!! Your tone is phenomenal! You shake very well to, when I heard that I started smiling!! Keep up the good work. Do you by any chance have the link to, or the actual sheet music?

  • I forgot how good this one is... you're awesome :)

  • i REALLY wanna learn this.. is there any sheet music you could help me out with?

  • amazing playing! How old is this guy?

  • I'm 19.

  • Well you have a very nice sound!

I've been playing trumpet for 3 years but I'm not near as good as you.

If you want to can check out my trumpet videos.

  • i watch this one over and over......simply amazing

  • I don't buy that you can play a trumpet two octaves lower... Thats a tuba, baritone horn, or trombone at minimum. Good video editing though :D

  • Please read description!

I pitched it down on the computer

  • U said i had pitch issues but i didnt notice because it was so awesome. I do something kinda like u so check out my channel

  • Great job man. awesome.

  • Hey man Love your stuff!!! Keep it up!!!

  • Your sound was a little pinched in the begging, but still totaly awesome!

  • can i have the sheet music for this for Bb trumpet

  • Sorry but I can only give out the sheet music for my arrangements only, this is a Canadian Brass arrangement.

  • awesome jazz style and piccolo arrangement

  • i should probably read the info on these before i freak out about how the tuba sound got in there

  • Awesome! Great job!!!

  • It's impressive as to how you got the trumpet to sound like its respective brass instrument.

  • Very compliment's for sound.

Whot type of mouthpieces for trumpet and little trumpet do you use .

    Gianni

  • Thanks! I use a Bach 3c for Bb trumpet and a Schilke 11ax for Piccolo

  • 3c's are great! ever tried a 1c megatone? they produce a smooth mellow sound perfect for this type... and any type i guess.. lol sounds great man! keep playin, you got it!

  • Yeah, I have tried a 1c but don't like how wide the rim is....I know a lot of "legit" players who use it and love it but I'm more into commercial playing.

  • Besides the wider rim, would the 1c offer a different sound as opposed to the 3c?

  • All mouthpieces will have a different sound and feel to the player. I know guys who like them and sound great on them, and I know some that don't like them and sound great on other stuff. With mouthpieces it's really up to the player. Take your horn down to your local music store and try out as many mouthpieces as you can...try and play a little bit of everything on each mouthpiece then pick the one that feels and sounds the best. A 3c works best for me, but everyone is different.

  • have you ever seen a megatone mouthpiece? In a megaton the cup stays the size that is stated and the shank/neck is longer allowing the embochure vibrations to linger longer in the neck. thus producing a much warmer tone then the bright regular tone 3c mouth pieces... besides, the 1c is smaller... and the 3c doesnt have the longer neck giving no room for the vibration to sustain therefore a brighter sound will be the result. :)

  • Hey, thanks for the comment. I'm not a huge fan of the megatones, I think its has more show than actually effect on sound. Also it becomes obsolete in the upper register. As for a 1c, its actually bigger than a 3c...it would give a warmer sound. But in my opinion instead of worrying about equipment for a better sound you should just stick to trumpet fundamentals(long tones and lip slurs). This is all just my opinion. Thanks for your input!

  • Ok yeah no problem.. when i was taught to play i was actually taught that different mouthpieces to carry different sound.... and infact i did notice a big change when i was playing the Hummel Concerto for before i was playing on the 3c and my teacher had urged me to get a 1c megatone that the peice required a more warmer sound so i did and she was correct for it did give me a not as harsher tone and as a result i recieved all ones on that piece for that year... nothing against the fundamentals!

  • I guess we had a slight missunderstanding. I have a 3c megatone. I was asking what the difference in sound would be between a megatone 3c and a megatone 1c.

    I think you thought that I was comparing a regular 3c and a megatone 1c. :)

  • oh! lol! im sorry! well in that case... i really have worked with a 3c megatone so i wouldnt know their comparison... sorry about the misunderstanding! lol

  • I see what your saying....the only difference is a wider rim. A wider rim would (theoretically) give you a warmer sound. But if your happy on the 3c then I suggest sticking with it. I feel people get carried away on wanting the biggest mouthpiece they can find to get a big warm sound just like people get carried away on small mouthpieces trying to get range. Just find a mouthpiece that gives you a nice balance of all aspects of trumpet playing and stick to it. Everything else will handle itself

  • Awesome! sound's just like a brass quintet. 5*****

  • Very nice composition , good .

    Compliments

  • Shoot when did you get an hd camera?

  • dude this is definitely one of your best great job!

  • Thanks man

  • How sweet the sound... ((d[~_~]b))

Great job on a piece lasting nearly 4 minutes!

  • Who gave you only one star for that?! It is great, as usual!

  • Great music! I cant beleive you played all parts to the canadian brass piece. The sound was flawless and awesome! Keep up the good work.
