1. Try smudging lightly :P

2. Use gradient maps and adjustment layers so you can get the right amount of contrast. If it appears it doesn't blend, you can sometimes get by by just using some gradient maps or changing the levels.

3. Paste your render>Duplicate it twice so you have three of the same layer>Gaussian blur the bottom layer at between .2 and .9>set bottom layer to lighten or screen> smudge the middle layer like hell> set middle layer to

It is important to know what colour should the background be in order to make a good looking sig...well at least to make the sig less awful.

That is called a rendered image, which is basically a image (like a character, object) with no background, use premiumrenders(dot)com they host variety's of rendered images.

I know it's just a tutorial to get the basic idea of how to make a signature but you could have chosen a different background (the gradient) because the red/green one doesn't fit very well, in my opinion. Why must you be such a pain in the ass, everybody starts somewhere and just because he isn't a professional doesn't mean that his skill is lacking, it means that he's improving. People and comments like yours just discourage people from making tutorials and good videos like that that help other people sharpen their skills as well. Even if it isn't the best video, it still means that he learned something from it, so just look back at what you did when you started and you will know what I mean.
