So, I'm not the only one who fell into a Mick St. John coma! I don't know about this movie, though. I did watch the episode of Criminal Minds where he played the OCD serial killer, and I actually thought it was good, didn't turn me off to him at all, just showed his amazing range and talent. In his own words, the character was redeemable. I felt sorry for him. Is that anything like this role?

After watching this and calling myself a fan of his, I don't think I can *not* see something he obviously felt so strongly was a story worth telling. By his own admission, his preconceptions were confronted by the whole concept and I can't help but respect his decision to bring it into the public forum so that others' preconceptions could be equally challenged. Nice job, mate. :o)

@vanduynaj I just finished watching Feed and am a HUGE AOL fan. I've been avoiding watching it too but now that I have I'm sorry I waited so long. The whole cast are great & Alex is AWESOME. He plays the part to perfection & while I love him in everything he does 4 me Feed really shows how talented he really is. Watch it - it's confronting, it's a bit gross in places but if you can hang in there I swear you will love it - the ending is UNBELIEVABLE and will leave you going OMG!!!! Enjoy!

I saw Feed a few weeks ago and it took me a couple of days to get over it. It was very intense and disturbing. Before a pressed play a cut myself a piece of apple pie, needless to say I did not finish it.

This is one of my favorite films. And I'm glad that they didn't have the roles switched. I do feel like the opening scene ( '' I want to be eaten'' ) could have set off an entire different movie though. Aside from being a great hook, it didn't add to the movie.

This definitely looks like an interesting film I definitely need to find it and watch.

I dont think he's closed minded by being shocked I would be. To see a perfectly healthy person (that maybe takes very good care of them-self) feeding a grossly over weight person to death, its over nurturing and not healthy for either sides.

But that is one of the many reasons I respect Alex, hes a good actor and is not afraid to confront inviolable material.

If you are believing what you see in a feature film then you need to rethink your intelligence level. I know people of all different classes with different fetishes/beliefs, etc, it is called character development. Disturbed individuals are not all church goers who are completely straight laced.

It was about serial killers ( obviously more than just that) just like you have serial killers who kill pros cause they saw mommys legs hanging over the bed while she got paid to please john, when they were kids. Its nothing about the feeders, it was about being able to control wither someone lives or dies. Michael and Diedre, and then Michael and Stummer.

Alex is AMAZING as the depraved serial killer. It is an excellent representation of his skills as an actor. By the end you are actually feeling sorry for him. While it is not for those with a weak stomach, I highly recomend FEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to thank spelunking01 for posting this interview. It is great to hear how he quickly transitioned from early judgment to seeing the people....if only more people did that. He obviously learned a great deal about people, filmmaking, etc. while working on this project. He certainly isn't just a pretty face.

The movie he is talking about is "Feed" which is something he did a few years back. Its fairly disturbing....I've seen some people call it extremely disturbing to disgusting (the content, not the movie itself). However, Alex is excellent in his role. If you want to see him do something polar opposite of Moonlight, something that will break you out of your Mick St. John coma, pick up "Feed."

It's great to hear what goes on behind the cameras from actors because it makes you realize that they don't just go to the set, act like divas and try to look smashing when the cameras roll. Real actors have real jobs, like giving life to characters and working with teams.
