@futbolista2010 lol i only paid 130 for them, I used the flap for awhile.. but sometimes I feel it gets in the way.... not often, but sometimes... I just like having the option of having the lacecover or not... I don;t have to cut it off.

@blackmercurialvapor, hey man, question for you. I own a pair of preds myself and you lace up the same way I do so I was wondering if you possibly have the same problem with getting cuts or sores on the top of your foot at the location of the knot from kicking the ball? Every time I kick the ball, the knot I tie my laces in (even though its under the flap) will cause that cut ontop of my foot. Any suggestions or different way to tie my boots so this isn't a problem? Thanks

haha i did not see that coming. I thought you were showing the line so we know where to cut it. Really good idea, i never thought of it. 5/5. Does it feel weird? if it does i'll either cut mine off or just leave it cause the laces are long for me so they flop around so the flap kinda helps me.

@R3alMadridFan07, It doesnt feel weird to me at all... Its just some weeks i feel like i dont want a flap there... and others i do... so this is convenient for me. i actually cut off about an inch and a half of the elastic band and then sew it back together so that it was a tighter. Im yet to try this with my new SG.... but i have a feeeling i will in the future. All i can say is try it out.. if u like it keep it... if u dont... u can always cut it off and then never be able to change it

@BlackMercurialVapor Hey I have been using F50s for 2 or 3 years now and i decided to make the switch to Predators because frankly i am tired of getting massive blisters on my feet. I was wondering If the swerve on these actually does something or if its all just marketing strategy, can you give me some input on what you think?

Its not a marketing strategy. The pred element on pwrswrv helps but it varies from person 2 person depending on your shooting style.

I shoot like becks, a side on angle and swing my foot around the ball to get maximum contact with the element. If your able to bend the ball decently right now, these boots will help increase what swerve you already have. It just gives you extra traction on the ball to get that extra spin on it.

Robin Van Persie, and at the time my local shop gave me a deal on them... too good to pass up really. it was either the black/white/blue absaldos... or the 2007 CL Powerswerves.... for the same price... so i took these. I ordered a pair of Powerswerve confed cup, but theyre on back order so they havent shipped out yet. but ill have an unboxing when they get here.

@chateXvideos i know what u mean im a predator man myself... My ConfedCup powerswerves are in the mail, and im gettin the Pred X in march.... but i wanna try f50's Adipures, Lasers, and Legend... Vapors were nice but Predators are where im comfortable.

@chateXvideos my m8 has a pair but im a size 12/ 12.5 depending on the boot. And hes a 9 so its not like i could try em on... and my local shop is small so the prolly wont have the adipure 2s till mid 2010 season and wont have the adipure 3's till late in the season of till 2011. Canada aint too soccer based, and my city has amazing players but sh*t resources.

thanks alot m8, im not sure if im the first to think of this, or if adidas kinda set it up that way... whoo knows... all i know is that i like having the choice of having the flap or having not... some days i like the clean shootin cover-less.... some days i feel i get more curve with the cover... depends on how im feelin.

but yeah

im ordering a pair of Adidas Pred x's this week they wont arrive till early january.... ill do an unboxing but cant test em out... snow :(((

i used the the insoles without tungesten powder for a long time.... HONESTLY i didnt notice much difference.... but i think its also more of a "placebo" just making u think it makes a difference in ur game... that extra confidence... but scientifically the it all makes sense that the powder would help.

i notice it working from time to time... or more so feeling it working... but yeah... either ones good.

the strap on both boots were wearing down alot.... and then i seen on Soccer Bible that vermalen was wearing predators without a lace cover...

then i thought about cutting off the flap... but couldnt bring myself to do it... so i started fiddling around. and this is what happened.
