I preffer a 50 roll instead of a 40 on my GTO. at 40 your either on second at 3k rpm or first at 5200 on the GTO which basically redlines at 6k. so at 50mph your at over 4k a bit better .

and if it makes you feel bad, i have pulled a full bolton LS2 GTO with gears. and i'm talking with long tubes....not those weak shorties good for maybe 10whp. So tell me again which car is faster. You wanna throw a cam and p/p the heads? or throw some nitrous? fine....but full bolt on GTO is not necessarily faster than any C32.

What is going to suffer more heat soak? A naturally aspirated car or one that is supercharged? In addition, the intercooler coolant system is in the same circuit as the engine circuit...all one circuit, so by virtue of the car sitting or being on, it gets heat soaked fast as the intercooler is not efficient and sits on top of the block and below the supercharger.....

C32 with a pulley swap alone is good for 30-50whp.... 40mph in a A4 GTO is a dead spot.... 45-50 in a A4 is the sweet spot.... Thats why the GTO pulls away with ease from the C32 when running from a 50 roll, GTO is a quicker / faster car hands down.....

Notice each run the 32 gets slower and slower = heat soak. That is the 32s worst enemy. Get a bigger HE and CM30 pump. Get a "Jerry tune" while you're at it and the goat won't have a chance. Good runs though!

GTO's suffer from heat soak worse then any car... The IAT sensor is right near the exhaust manifolds....

FI GTOs yes, NA doesn't suffer heat soak near as back as the blown 32 on stock cooling.
