So, there's everything deep about this metaphorical song. Multi-layered emotions, mingled with beautiful calming, but yet deeply sad, imagery. Sad, for when you see the crest of waves crash, you can feel that persons struggle with themselves and everyone around them. The music, with just the right touch of tempo, with your raw emotion-packed voice, adds to the sentiment of the song. Beautiful song, fitting imagery - perfect, guys! Apt title, I might add :)
Thanks. Of everything Scott and I have recorded, this one is the best so far. So, I didn't mess with it too much. On Audacity, I just selected all the tracks and lowered the amplification by 1 three to six times until the meter was not in the red at any point in the song. (I guess it takes having been a DJ for my college radio station to know about that. I know how bad things can sound if it does anything more than "kiss" the red. Apparently, Scott would rather have a wall of raw sound.)
