  • kurt cobain played one - i could imagine how he got that mustang sound

  • ha, mustangs are awesome. sure, theyre much better quality now than they were in the 60s nad 70s, but 950 bucks. i mean shit fender. my uncle remembers when he could pick these mufuckers up at pawnshops in the 80s for like 100 bucks. this is bullshit. i know kurt used em, but jesus

  • I found one for 200 bucks. Should I take it?

  • @TheHathaway where ?

  • 1:08 THATS A LIE!!! sells men... what they say to sell :/ but dont worry! it can be fixed :3

  • its bullshit that fender charges nearly 1000 dollars for a student guitar.

  • @PopExpo

It isn't a student guitar, it's a vintage reproduction guitar.

It was a student guitar in 1965, when it was introduced.

  • @PopExpo I dont think its so expensive for the quality.. iven though a American hss special strat cost less :I

  • Hopefully getting the same one soon by selling an old guitar for some money. I found one for cheap....ish

  • My first guitar was a Mustang, bought it at a pawn shop in LA. It was brown with a Bigsby Trem on it. That was so long ago...I didn't know crap about guitars then. It's floating around Europe somewhere now but if anyone knows about a Bigsby on a Fender I'd like to hear! I figure it was heavy modified by some moron....it never stayed in tune.

  • what's that retail for?

  • @YouWantMeYouCantPay new ones betweeen 900USD-1100USD some even more (the production series from the 60s) albeit second hand.. i wish they were still cheap...

  • Please nyan for us.

  • @rusher38 lol

  • ive just recently bought a mexican strat and wish i bought one of these :(

  • @door3x that mim strat dident cost 1000 huh? iven an American strat cost less lol

  • @GrungeyMr Then that American is shit! Ive seen American standard and other types go for 1100 or more

  • What ampli are you using?

  • I play Fender Aerodyne Strat , luv it, but this Mustang sound is really cool. Luv the pickup setup too! Beauty to look at. Simplicity at its best ! :) Gotta get one someday.

  • they were cheap, until Kurt played them......

  • DAMON

next time you come to shrewsbury you gotta bring one of these :D

  • ahahah he has small hands xD

  • @RYANN36 i have a 65 reissue mustang daphne blue its the nicest guitar ive had its got the most comfortable neck and it sounds real nice unpluged just it going out of tune a lot is disappointing but that's easily fixed with adjusting the springs the pickups are the wort ive had on any guitar but nothing like a pickup change i never bort it for the pickups anyway i have a jb in another guitar witch i will put in

  • will be a great pity if the сhinese clock for five dollars you scratch the guitar for a thousand dollars

  • i have a origional mustang guitar :)

  • that's probably why these guitars are setup shit being a student model for 600 pound you'd think they'd sort that out

  • @wipers86 those guitars aren't as bad as you think m8, they are close to some american fender models, and there pretty fun to play...

  • It's a great guitar and all, but I'd rather get the Am. St. Strat for 50 bucks more.

  • "fantastic starter guitar"... wtf? a starter guitar for + - 700 ??????

  • @nunopumpkin haha it wasnt that much back when the 65 was made.

  • He wears his watch on his right wrist however is playing guitar righty.

Do people wear watches on their dominant hand in the uk?

  • @pokkitmonzturr only gay people where it on the right straight on the left.

  • @cheezbeenzriz nahh that's only for earrings.

    He prolly is gay tho.

  • @cheezbeenzriz That is such bullshit...

  • @pokkitmonzturr who gives a shit, this video isn't about his watch

  • @MrBobby13531

This doesn't involve you faggot mind your own fuckin business.

  • whats the difference between the mustangs pickups and a strats

  • @Nicksbia THeres 2 on a mustang while a strat has 3.

  • @alexproductions13 are they just single coil?

  • @Nicksbia i believe so...

  • what does the phase switches do? when i played a mustang at one of the music stores near my home, when i push the switches close and far away from eachother, i just get a wiry, trebly sound.

  • @PAULisDEADMANnumber9 that's exactly what the out-of-phase does, makes the tone thinner and more nasal. Some people like that tone for funk rhythm playing.

  • @PAULisDEADMANnumber9 on my mustang it changes if you want doistortion or not, or it cuts out the amp

  • DOES ANYONE KNOW THE SANDY COLORED ONE OVER HIS LEFT SHOULDER?!?!?!?!?!?

  • @super1spanker That's a duesenberg, originally a german guitar builder in the USA.

  • poor sustain on these guitars

  • I grew up playin a 66 stang if you like fuzzy/sludgy sounds this guitar brings it in spades.

  • Sounds so good in this video. But 1:07 It's a vibrato, Not tremolo! I know Fender called it a Tremolo but they got the terms mixed up!

  • would like to hear the guitar instead of the reverb

  • var är den byggd??? usa mex ?

  • I have small hands but big fingers. Would it be good for me ? :D

  • I'm not overly keen on Classic Series Fenders, they seem a bit cheap looking to me. I used to have a 1978 Fender Mustang but I sold it. I wish I still had it, it was really cool. :(

  • When the Mustang was released in '64, it's list price was about $190 (about $1040 adjusted for inflation).

  • damn i wish mustangs were still cheap

  • @Nockgale

used, dude. Craigslist, i've seen 'em for $500

  • @fanofthemusic1090 but really worth 2000 bucks if in mint condition like mine:)

  • @alexproductions13

2k? Maybe, if it's PRISTINE, but I wouldn't pay more than $1200 for one if it wasn't, like, cryo frozen since 1979, or some shit.

  • @fanofthemusic1090 i wouldn't even pay over 900 for one. They're nice guitars, but nothing over the top. Would be nice to have one though

  • @Nockgale dude, u can get a vintage for like, $1500

  • @PBANDSNOW thats so cheap when your 16 years old!!! c'mon man haha

  • @Nockgale you know what i mean though

  • @PBANDSNOW cheap for vintage dosn't mean it's cheap :P. thats like saying oprah isn't rich cuz she's not as rich as bill gates :P

  • @PBANDSNOW no, i mean its cheap FOR a vintage guitar

  • @Nockgale you can thank Kurt Cobain for that lol

  • awesome

    i have small hands :D

  • thank you for subscribing and i will not disapoint

  • nice guitar, but really if it was designed to be cheap for students.. why isnt it? (maybe its jus me but uhh 700 isnt starter guitar price =P )

  • HEy there. This WAS a student guitar in the past. now it's considered vintage and this is a reissue hence the price.

  • there 939.99 now lol

  • theye where cheap when they came out...

  • Overdrive sound please...

  • @wihaga83 nooob
