lol on mine when i start the first thing i do is kill montblanc off because i dont find him useful enough to use in every battle...i pick up lini and then make him a gunner with concentrated ultima....and i pick up Eldena and make her a summoner for double cast large AOE damage and heals....works like a beast and i make the main dude ninja with 2 swords then change to paladin for great damage and holy sword ftw

Whenever i play this game i tend to use the starting 5 clan members with marche (no montblanc) and then pick up Lini and make him into a concentrated ultima gunner.

The best combination in the game is red mage and summoner especially when you have the ability DoubleCast. I trained March into learning ninja ability which is Double sword and then quickly changed him back to thief and gave him the best weapons....(sigh) too much memories lol

yeah well i never actually used him that much, only at crucial moments. i just like jugglers and the only 2 moogles i have in my team is Montblanc and Lini, and I don't feel like giving up Charmshot, Confushot, Boltshot, Iceshot, Fireshot and Concentrate, OR all the mastered Mog Knight abilities INCLUDING Ultimate. So.... well. I've tried all the things, including Bardmoon trick, and I can't find the clan league missions nowadays.... so, well.

Nu Mou as a black mage means his magic attack does more damage. So it should be

Soldier's are bad. Don't level Marche as one.

I turned Montblanc into a mog knight/time mage, and to tell you the truth, he kicks ass. Use him with ultima charge and he does about 350 damage at lvl 32, and he's still getting stronger ^_^ He can be useful, it just takes careful planning on what moves to learn. Ultima charge can be useful to pwn annoying nearby pests, or quicken on Marche to pwn even more! Good combo in my opinion.

The MP helps with the Ultima charge and time magic, and the fact that he is involved in a mission or two is kinda important.. I don't know. I guess I just like turning a mage into a beefed up version of 'Lini'.

I made a "full bangaa" clan, and it was the easiest game ever. Bangaa kicks ASS!

The "full viera" was cool.

"Full Moogle" and "Full Nu mou" weren't.

They were at level 35.

I had a WhiteMonk/Templar, a WhiteMonk/Bishop, a Warrior/WhiteMonk, a Dragoon/Warrior, a Defender/Item, and a Gladiator/Warrior.

I didn't learned all the War Tech (warrior skills), because nobody uses MindBreak, but I learned "First Aid, Greased Bolt, Body Slam, Downside..."

Assassins and Ninjas are my most favorite jobs. And my Juggler is hella filthy. I love using his dagger tech to fuck up an enemies ability to attack and then just whale on them with my Bangaas and Ninjas. Man this game is fucking awesome. I have all my guys nearly to level 50 with 99 experience points. I just need to get them to master all their techniques.My first saved game I was working hard on got saved over on accident when I wanted to start over. I was so used to rushing to save on File A.

you should do marche as a paladin double sword excalibur2 and nagarok :P(or sequence if you have it above 80 atk power) Of course ninjas are nice for speed, but i am assuming you leveled him as ninja for around 15 levels, so time for paladin XD

No mous should be leveled up as time or white mages. Time mages have a bit better speed growth but white mages have better MP growth.

Humans should be leveled up as ninjas because of the speed growth. I throw in a few levels as blue mage to bulk up HP and MP.

thats a very hard one to find i had to use a gamefaqs guide you neeed to use the treasure hunting guide and place the towns and areas in the correct places to get lots of hidden weapons

Or you can steal from the alchemist in the mission "Golden Clock". In order to do so, you'll need to get Steal: Ability early so you can get Steal: Weapon form the thief in the "Wanted(Draghilev Godeye)" mission.

You can also get one during the Corrupt Judge Missions (after completing all 300 missions)from the sage in the mission "Cleanup Time".

mmm personally i think the only useful thing about ninjas is throw and double sword. fighters are excellent but they are so weak compared to your hero being a fighter so i made mine a paladin/fighter. illusionists are better on nou mo but on all of my nou mo i like their current abilities too much to change them and my human illusionist does just fine but whatever floats your boat :P
