I'm done arguing with you beacause these are opinions (even though mine is also fact lol) and you can't fight a true fan of anything. NOBODY could convince ME that Ronnie Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd isnt the greatest american-born songwriter of all time even though guys like Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys exist. @joediver1119 Kotzen is only semi-famous because of Poison. If wasn't for Poison, he'd be a complete unknown. His only good songs are the ones with Bret Michaels on lead vocals.

Wanna hear a great singer from Kotzen's past - go get a Mr Big CD and listen to Eric Martin.THAT is a lead singer. Bret Michaels is a FRONTMAN. David Lee Roth is a frontman. Sammy Hagar is a lead singer. Big difference.

@joediver1119 Bret IS a frontman and also a great lead singer. He's not someone that will blow you away with his range, but his voice is perfect for the songs. He brings a character and feeling to the song that Kotzen cannot. I've heard "until you suffer some" with Kotzen on lead vocals and it's terrible. As for being a frontman, Bret is one of the best. He brings an energy to the stage that grabs the audience and doesn't let it go. That's what rock n roll is all about.

@poizond13 Really? This is your argumant? His 'body of work' is mostly a bunch of songs he had little to nothing to do with writing. Poison shares writing credits equally no matter who wrote the song - translation - Bret or Bobby. He plays the same exact shit in EVERY one of his solos. Tell me - how did he do when he went solo? He would've KILLED for 200 people to come see his mediocre ass. Kotzen is a victim of the sad state of music when it comes to lack of exposure. The dude is brilliant.

@joediver1119 Sorry bud, but as a die hard Poison fan for many years, I can tell you that you're wrong. CC had a huge hand in writing many of Poison's hits. He wrote the music for most songs. Poison's primary songwriters were CC and Bret. Bobby was never much of a songwriter, though he did contribute. CC is NOT mediocre. He wrote some of the most memorable songs and solos of all time. Kotzen has NOT. History speaks for itself, case closed.

Would love to see Capitol Records remaster Native Tongue with this included as a bonus track. They already remastered and re-released the first three albums, so why this album was overlooked was a shame.

So they Fired his ASS,and haven't seen him in years not long after the Albu was released. it's a very rare track intended only as a B.side...it's clearly a cover of one of the native tongue track........same mix + overdubs...differents vocals.......and killer sweeping richie style solo at the end.......
