@Ahattrick4asprilla Only Pavel Bure knows for sure why he left Vancouver. However Bure's dissatisfaction with the Canucks began during the 1994 lockout. His pay was withheld even though his contract stated he should continue to receive it. Certainly the situation was aggravated by then owner Arthur Griffiths' inability to sustain the costs of the new building then under construction. Griffiths lack of funds contributed to some poor decisions on behalf of the Canucks regarding Bure.
