It has sold tons of copies, I believe that these artists admired these guys and it is their way of showing their respect and admiration, besides helping to keep the memories alive. My father used to sing this all the time when I was young (the Frank Sinatra Version) and when I heard it I cried profusely thinking about my father who passed away almost 6 years ago. This song will always be one of my favorites. ALL of Frank Sinatra's songs are embedded in my mind. We used to listen to him every Sunday morning at breakfast. But Celine Dion adds a more personal touch to this song that I had never heard before. She has the most beautiful voice.
