i rember whatching this when i didnt have minecraft nor youtube and just rembering "dang that looks so fun and it looks like he is enjoying it alot more than cod." So when i bought alpha back in 1.10 days i loved it the all green terrain the hugge cliffs and just the fun of the lighting and snow. Now minecraft just sucks. I wish notch would update the website so we could play alpha again for us orginals. Alas i guess he will never bring it back. *sigh*

@DeputyFifey I have had that same feeling, you know. BUT! It's not too late, I managed to find(with the help of Google) a cracked version of Alpha, which played just fine! So, it is not too late :)

i play minecraft to and dimonds are rare as hell!

trust me! get rid of the lava and use your steel pick!

not stone or wood they dont work!

but mine it with a steel pick!

dimond tools last a long time!

I used to watch your Fallout videos, so it's nice to see one of my favorite LPers play Minecraft. Whenever you used to make mistakes in Fallout I used to cringe, but since I just bought Minecraft I will be learning from your mistakes instead. Great video!

this game goes forever if you just kept heading in one direction it is my understanding that it will never never never end. someone once told me ITS BIGGER THAN EARTH I plan to get the game back and test this theory

I believe it's around 8 times the size of the earth. Well, the surface area at least.

Well, it's technically preordering the game. You can get it half price now and get access to his current builds and the like. Plus it's not like he updates once a month, he updates like 2 times a week and he's added loads of features each friday for the last month.

The game is in really good shape for it only being in alpha.

@Highstar25 Wow... just wow.. You pay now and you get every future version (beta and release). With this system he was able to quit his full time job to work full time on the game. Would you rather have the game go in beta in 2 years and not have to pay ?

A bit of both. You can get the older meh version or you can buy Alpha and get the current/updating version.

Dropping down in a 2 block deep pool at the bottom of that staircase is faster than a minecart :p but not as fast of course. And remember for future videos that streams and recordings are alot darker than ingame. :)
