There's a video out there (a friend of mine had it on VHS) called "1991 the year punk broke", that had footage of the Reading fest, including Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, and others. Nirvana and Dinosaur Jr were the best.

@Cankoooo1 There are excerpts from this concert on the Sonic Youth video '1991; The year punk broke' including loads of backstage/tour footage from 1991 and the full version of endless nameless (the drum kit dive). I managed to get a copy on VHS a few years ago so you should still be able to pick it up somewhere although most of the footage is probably on youtube already.

Reading 1992 got released. This one didn't have good video quality as you can see, and idk why a soundboard recording hasn't been released but w/e. 2002 was better IMO but 1991 had more old nirvana when they were slower and more melvins sounding as opposed to 1991-1993 more punk sound.

Thanks for the clip tangokunigas.I was there and it was incredible.The dancer was brilliant as well. One of my favourite gigs too.Just incredible.They were just below The Family Cat on the bill mid afternoon but you could tell they were about to be huge,partly because there were many many more people wearing Nirvana t shirts than shirts for any other act appearing that weekend.Fabulous thankyou.
